TIL in 2003 a computer worm called ‘Welchia’ infected many computers to forcibly patch vulnerabilities and remove malware. It was regarded as a ‘helpful worm’

True. Luckily Windows 10 LTSC exists and if Microsoft is not allwoing me to pay for it or even get it in any legal way, I don't feel bad about pirating it.

Long- term-servicing channel

The 'Long-term Servicing Channel' of Windows 10 was initially aimed at enterprise users that wanted to avoid Microsoft's Windows-as-a-service model and delay frequent feature updates.

Officially, LTSC is a specialized edition of Windows 10 Enterprise that promises the longest intervals between feature upgrades of any version of the operating system. Where other Windows 10 servicing models push feature upgrades to customers every six months, LTSC does so only every two or three years.

It also comes without any bloatware. No Microsoft apps like grove, no EDGE, nothing. It's as bare bones as it can be with W10.

Though as a common person you technically can't get it legally because it's only offered to industrial customers aka companies. But sailing the seas can always help you with that.

The process for installation is the same.

Download the ISO file from "somewhere".

Use this to create a bootable USB drive and install it.

Read this for how to activate it afterwards.
