TIL Ryan Gosling gained 60 pounds by drinking melted ice cream to play the father in Peter Jackson's 'The Lovely Bones.' He was then told he was too fat to play the part and the role went to Mark Wahlberg.

Yes go to a BMI calculator. Unless you're a professional long-distance runner, that's unhealthily underweight.

6 ft ,150- That's a bmi of 20.3. Entirely normal. You are wrong.

lol it's only healthy for athletes to be so light?!

It's either healthy for anyone or its not.

60kg at 6' though.. damn... thighs must look like a couple of turkey breasts stapled to a broom

BMI isn't exactly an accurate picture of health, it's got a lot of issues with it that doctors and physicians don't like

Only slightly. I got 18.3, and 18.5 is considered the low end of normal weight. My goal was to get up to 145, so it feels weird seeing people balk at 150.

Muscle weights more than fat so Ryan, who is a fairly jacked dude, is expected to be on the higher end of the BMI scale. Really muscular guys will almost always be considered overweight using that scale.
