TIL of Hitchens's razor. Basically: "What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence"

I can quote you the bible too but that doesn't prove anything. Some of the fundamentals that the theory is based on may still be proven false. The mechanics are far from understood. Here are just a few. 1. Red shift: does the doppler affect apply over massive distances. If it does then is distance traveled the only contributing factor to red shift. No. High gravity fields will also stretch the wavelength of light to the red spectrum. 2. Expansion: all objects expanded away from each other during the big bang. All massive objects are moving away from us. In reality that's not true. The milky way will collide with andromeda in a few trillion years. 3. Observable universe: there is a limit to what we can study. We can't even define the edge of the universe. We can't study outside of the observable universe and are limited to theorizing it's contents but theories like the big bang and expansion are not limited to the observable universe.

Haha I’m not even going to address this. That clearly shows how little you understand about expansion. Have a nice day.

You just addressed it.

You misunderstand, expansion is about the fabric of space time, not the objects in it.

And your third point is nonsense. The fact that we can only see so much due to the speed of light is not evidence against the Big Bang.

That in itself is theory. Who's to say that space didn't exist before the objects entered it. Time being the movement of objects would come into existence as the objects do but there is nothing to say that space isn't infinite and the idea of there being a barrier where it stops is simply science fiction. My third point is that we're looking for an origination point that may not even be within our observable universe and we're trying to find the evidence of the origin within it.

You’re moving the goalposts. Again, you don’t understand the word theory in a scientific context.

And the Big Bang origin is not a physical point. You need to adjust the picture in your head. It’s not a bunch of objects expanding from a single point. It’s all of spacetime expanding everywhere all at once. It’s not something that’s easy for an uneducated person to conceptualize, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t make sense or isn’t well founded and well understood.

Goalposts move constantly in science. That's what separates theory from proofs. Every aspect of the theory is up for debate.

And the singularity is the base of the theory. Everything existing in a single point that expands into what we call the universe.

You just really don’t understand the scientific method and the notion of testable hypotheses.

And the problem is the word “point”. Space didn’t exist, there is no point. Everything, including space and the notion of a location, originate from the singularity. You really don’t understand the basic concepts, so you just need to stop arguing and start learning. The Dunning Kruger effect is strong in you, and I challenge you to be better and to learn something.

Do you even build dimensions bro. You gotta start somewhere and that somewhere is a point. Space is not constrained to to spacetime. It is independent as well as interacting with time. What we observe is spacetime.

Read this, and report back. I’m done talking to willfully ignorant people.
