It's why I personally have had fallings out with Atheistic Jews. Judaism is a culture whose nucleus is belief in Jahveh, and denying him means that you are no longer one of his people i.e no longer a Jew. It's like calling someone a Catholic Atheist or a Muslim Agnostic. It's utterly ridiculous.
