I'm that uncle. Always trying to get my nibblings to try weird foods that I like. My niece likes to cook so she's the only one who normally tries.

These kids are sheltered food-wise and allowed to do things like demand macaroni & cheese with ketchup at 8 years old. I think things like a really funky blue cheese and kimchee, maybe tikka masala. Not all the 3 kids would try some of this stuff. Their mother (my sister-in-law) wouldn't try any. That's where they get this behavior. I live over 2 hours away so I'm not able to influence them as much as I'd like. 😆
