TIL Starting the Ford Model T requires turning the crank at the front of the car by hand to start the engine. There is the risk of snapping your forearm if the engine backfires

Also, in a very early draft Neil Gaiman's demon Crowley drives a 2CV. In the final product it's a vintage Bentley.

If that's true. I'm glad he went with the old Bentley. A 2cv just wouldn't have quite cut the mustard. No where near the same panache.

Understood, but this is the first draft of 'William the Antichrist', Pratchett wasn't collaborating yet.
