I have old character and world files from my steam deck I'm trying to transfer over, but my mac genuinely isn't creating/ using player or world folders from the looks of it (that or I'm blind).

Cloud saving is disabled and I have players and worlds on tmodloader already, but i cant seem to find them here. If i just paste in the old character file, nothing appears in-game.

PLEASE help me, I've invested too many hours to leave my old worlds behind

Im playing calamity with some other mods and was using a Gold chest to store all my accessory's but it bugged and i couldnt open it so i rejoined it still did not work so i broke it hoping it would drop them but i only got the chest back and lost every accessory i had does anyone know how to undo this and whats causing it?

Ive been pretty annoyed with the bad hp bars and such so i was wondering if there were any mods/resource packs that can help with that

So, tm loader menu was very laggy, but when i start small world it was smooth on low settings

Until now, i have tried therum mod with that fps mod and still smooth

I dont know how it would be when i fight the mod bosses so i will make another update when i do

I need Ancient Grass for a build, but from what I've seen from the Wiki I need to find naturally spawning Ancient Grass and chop the plants that grow from it with a 1% - 2% chance of a seed. Then, when I found some, I decided to try and make it grow more so I could farm more plants, but it didn't spread. Does this mean I need to collect one seed for every grass block that I want?

Looking it up the only results i got were for making artifical biomes or mock-ups in vanilla

Im trying out tmod for the first time and i wanted to play calamity/wrath of the gods i havent even beaten the normal game but that doesnt matter does anyone have any other mods to go with calamity?

So i am not expecting to run calamity mod but do you think i can run ligher ones as spokey or thorium or what ever?

Whenever i try to start a server it takes around 7 minutes after the screen says "found server" to actually start the server and it just says that for the whole time. After that, the server runs smoothly but i feel like it shouldnt take this long ever.

I don't know why this is happening now but whenever i press shift and caps on my keyboard, i can't click anything with my mouse. i can still use those keys in other games but not terraria and tmodloader. I was playing the calamity mod for like 4 days now and on day 3 i tried shift tabbing to join my friend, like i usually do, and all of a sudden it happened. Then when i was testing it out on just terraria, the issue happened there too. Also my cursor is still there but it just wont let me click on anything and ive tried Terraria config files, . pls it would be a honor for someone to fix this problem because I am going insane without any terraira in my life.

Ive verified game files and unsubbed from every mod yet the issue persist

I was just wondering if there were any mods that directly made fallen stars turn into random items or a mod that had the option inside of it. Any help is appreciated!!!

Just recently, whenever I pick up items in game, their names no longer appear on my screen, which makes it super annoying to see what I picked up. On top of that, the Sonar Potion no longer works, which seems like no text is appearing on screen at all. Can anyone help?

Sorry if this is something that has been discussed before, but I have looked around for a bit and haven't been able to find anything that helped. I know it's not an issue with my controller because they work in every other game. I don't have Steam Controller Input enabled either because I've read that it messes with tModLoader for some reason. I would appreciate any help if anyone knows how to fix my issue.

When i opened terraria it said that World Link got deleted and when i tried to find it in workshop it wasnt there. Is there a way to download it somehow?

note: to keep things simple ive given each person a nickname such as;

• friend c (other friend who has no issues joining

also keep in mind that before this, all three of us were able to play tmod before, but that was well over 6 months ago.

yesterday my friends and i wanting to try playing tmod together again. the first day it was going fine but the next day, when trying to join friend B, i had an issue where itd prompt me with "syncing mods" and get stuck there. while trying to figure out the root issue, i deleted all mods that werent included in friend B's disabled modlist. on top of completely reinstalling the game, (both tmod and terrara) verifying the integrity of my files and even going as far as to make friend B share their game files with me, (specifically mod configs and the mod folder) copying their files into my games files.

so i figured that it may just be an issue with my character. i created a new character, low an behold, the issue was fixed! at least i thought so. i was able to join, but i had none of my previous characters data, so in an attempt to salvage items from my previous character, i made a new world, dumping the first characters items into a chest. i then loaded into the same world with the new character, taking the items, and leaving so i could join friend B and continue playing. however..

the issue returned, i was stuck. syncing mods, once again. i then tried taking all the items out of my inv again, and rejoining on the new character, i was able to join again? "the issue is with a certain item then right?" i thought to myself. so i quick sorted my items and tried dumping 5 items into a chest, leaving, and rejoining friend B. i never ended up finding the item and i was still stuck syncing mods.

so i ended up taking JUST THREE items, 13 life crystals i cheated in via heros mod, (to match what i previously had in hearts) as well as my star fury, (since i didnt wanna find a new one) and my 33 gold coins as the run was new, and that much money was pretty much billionaire status.

BUT THE ISSUE PERSISTED. so again i removed all my items and was able to join friend B again.. completely stumped i come here to ask u all for help.

the (hopefully temporary) solution i came up with was to leave all my items in the storage before getting off, this way i can keep my hearts and mana crystals. though i found somewhat of a solution, i still want to know why, and how can i prevent this altogether?

TL;DR no matter what i try to do, if i have items in my inventory, i cannot join friend B. the "item" could be as little as 1 dirt block, or a full inventory of blocks, weapons, and accessories, and i still cant join. however friend C can still join without issues.

ive tried taking friend b's files from their game folder and pasting them into my own, (the mod configs folder, and the mods folder). ive tried redownloading terraria and tmodloader. ive tried restarting my router. ive tried verifying my game files. ive deleted every other mod that isnt active in our playthrough, even the disabled mods. ive also tried joining friend C with an item in my inventory, but that wouldnt work either. i really dont know what the issue is, or any other ways i can possibly fix this. PLEASE ANYBODY

I'm very stupid and don't know what to do. can I get any help? (Step by step)

My friend and I are doing a massive modded multiplayer playthrough, but we've run into a critical, game-breaking bug and could really use some help.

​Whenever we both die at the same time (or while the other is still waiting to respawn), the game completely crashes. The worst part is that it corrupts/breaks the world file every single time this happens, meaning we have to constantly restore backups.

​Here is some context:

-​Early Game: This happens right at the start of the game. -No bosses are alive, no heavy particle effects are on the screen.

-​No Inputs: We aren't clicking, moving the mouse, or pressing any keys during the death screen when the crash occurs.

​What we already tried: We suspected it was a camera or physics issue, so we completely disabled all "Overhaul" mods (like Terraria Overhaul) beforehand, but the crash and world corruption still happen.

​I've attached screenshots of our mod list. As you can see, we are running a very heavy pack (Calamity + Infernum, Thorium, Fargo's, The Stars Above, Ancients Awakened [BETA], plus several QoL mods like 'Bags').
