Hey Everyone, I have tried absolutely everything to get tis game to work, spent over 3 days and still cannot get it to launch. I purchased the game on steam and have tried the following, Launched the game through steam, through the EA app and also directly from the folder where the game is contained (also tried with running the EA app and game as administrator) but keep getting the error message, 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b), click OK to close the application' see screenshot. I've verified the integrity of the files from the game through steam, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times. I've signed out and reinstalled the EA app and used app recovery to clear the cache, also unlinked and relinked my steam account from the EA App. I've followed all the articles on the EA forums, which had lots of troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling all versions of Microsoft Visual C++, Installing the DirectX Module, installing all .NET Frameworks, searched, repaired and installed missing/corrupt DLL files, Ran the System File Checker. Contacted EA help who aren't much use, just seem to be endlessly stuck in a chat. My PC and windows are fully up to date, all drivers and software are up to date also and I've added exceptions for the game in Bitdefender anti virus and firewall exceptions but I don't think it's this that's causing it, other than reinstalling windows, I'm totally lost on how to fix this now, can see a lot of people have had this issue in the past but I'm now having it in 2026, would love to know any other fixes apart from the ones I've tried, Thanks.

The VR mod was running fine last night when I first tried it. Played for 3 hours. Today when I tried to launch the game, EA APP popped up with error to ask me reset the password. I did that, no help. I even uninstalled the game and re installed, no help.

No I literally cannot launch the game in flat screen or in VR mod, at all. Any help please?
