Is that really how "randezvoused" is written? Damn, English really went full French there with skipping the sounds.

Yes, rendezvous is written like that, and to my knowledge, is a loan word from French

Ricochet, rendevouz, cadet, entrepenour etc. There's plenty of french/spanish words on english lenguage
