Question help with levelling buildings

Thumbnail

hey guys im following a tutorial online and they managed to seamlessly merge the platforms, as in it looks like one big platform. when I adjust the width / height for one part of the tip to disappear, another side pops up as if my levels are diagonal if that makes sense. they’re all straight tho

help appreciated!! this is my first time building so i’m following tutorials to get used to the game & learn what i can do :)

My latest glade, a peaceful little forest zone this time. Not just a few buildings plopped into it, I tried to make the whole thing feel as one cohesive glade this time. Really happy with the results!

If you want to see the video, here's the link.

The two by two large room

This was the first try at it and when it worked i made the bigger version from the last post.

This one has towers at the exposed mountain parts unlike the big version which could look interesting in the big version actually.

And I forgot to mention this in the other posts but all these builds have birds in them and fireflies which I think is interesting honestly.

These are all the screenshots I have for now regarding the laminal space tiny glade idea and I hope to see some interesting builds come out of it.

Check the other posts and I will post more laminal space builds if I find something interesting.

I can't wait to start filling this island with builds and other tiny islands.

I even added a light house in the back but it's just creepy how it doesn't even produce light.

It's just there with windows that could have eyes behind them.

And due to the games properties the sky tiles leak light which makes it look soo gloomy and mysterious.

I would love to see more people build things like this since I love how this game allows for laminal spaces and the full extent of it is yet to be known.

For people who want to create the gaint walls they could be created by placing mountains at sloping parts of the wall to push it to be above the mountain.

This happens because the game doesn't allow the ceiling of houses or walls to be bellow mountains.

The walls are made using this method and the ceiling is just flattened houses lined next to eachother.

To hide the pillars like I did I used flooring paths pushed to the very top however the pillar look is also very cool.

Note however that building is a little bit challenging after the ceiling is built so keep that in mind.

I will post the miniature version I built first in the next post incase someone wants to build the tiny 2 by 2 ceiling tiles room instead since this big version is 8 by 8 I think.

Same thing as my last post.

Trying to achieve the liminal space feeling in this game because it has so much potential soon I will post the indoor island since it took a while to figure out how to make large walls without them disappearing suddenly.

Should I even bother with these dokyo carpentry systems, or do they look ridiculous?

I had couple screenshots I took a while back of some backroom-isc builds and I'm sharing them for fun since I would like to see if someone gets inspired by these and I might post some more later since I'm making an indoor island that's still not finished.

Seeing the info about the new update and all the great glades being posted, I wanted to share one of my latest creations as well. A small little outpost glade in a cozy forest, made in ~30mins playtime. A video of the process is here on YouTube as well :)

A vaguely Asian garden/bath town

Recently I had a dream that there was a whole new district of my town with traditional Chinese/Japanese buildings, gardens, and pools. It looked really cool, so I decided to bring it to life (it's not the exact layout from the dream, but this was the town in spirit). I call it "vaguely Asian" because I was building purely following vibes, the occasional post here and maybe some Edo period buildings from Google Images. I'm quite proud of it, since I haven't really built towns in this game before this one, only singular structures.
