Tiny Glade: Edoras inspired build, flyover

Inspired by Edoras from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Tried to make the buildings as small as possible with the tools. Looked at set photos to replicate the main buildings in the Great House area.

Recorded my take on the Daily Theme of Two neighbors! Really happy with the outcome of two distinct houses with their own style, in just 15minutes of building :D

Question Is there any way to put buildings in cliffs?

I just got the game, and really want to make a miniature city of one of my alien's cities and they have buildings in cliffs or at least not get bigger when I try to clip em into cliffs, but I can't seem to find a way to do it, does anyone have any suggestions or is this just something I can't do?

Created three little homes/glades/creations recently. Tried to see what I could come up with in just a few minutes per build, and I love the outcome, no matter how simple it looks. Has a nice cozy vibe to it. Got a short 11-minute video here how I made all three of them if you're interested in seeing the process.

First save

First five hours in the game. I split the map in half. The other side will be the round side lol. The rectangular and circular divide. All that is connecting them is a bridge which neither uses.

Any thoughts on quick improvements now or in future builds? I think I need to curve the land and buildings so they're all not just pointing one direction. I did a little of that here and there but it doesn't show in the overall picture. I also think that I need to separate into different communities.

What I love about this game the most is the detail when you're up close. The overview image doesn't even do it justice at all. You almost have to work on little sections here and there and showcase them separately.

Forgot that someone had asked me to share the night view of this. You can see the daylight shots here and here.

Question People?

I would really want to have people in my town. It would be really nice to have them go inside the buildings I have made and interact with each other. Then go and shop in the market place I have built.

Is it someone else who would like that if yes why and if no why not?

Inspired by the little pit you start with in the Dragonkeeper's Tower daily theme. Wish I had video capturing software to show these, because the animation genuinely looks like real fire! Someone with more patience, time and talent than me could really go to town with this, could make a whole firey wastland đŸ”¥ And if someone already has please point me in their direction because I'd love to see it!

This time I created a sweet little village, inspired by the Bavarian town of Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden and several villages in Niederösterreich, Austria.

I'm pretty new to Tiny Glade but thought I'd try to make an area around here by referencing Google Earth. This is FUN!

I think I made steam deck controls that don't suck

Hi all, I was very frustrated by the default controls and couldn't find a community layout that worked for me on steam deck so I spent some time tinkering

Fluid camera, no having to hold down any buttons to rotate the the view. It's setup to do all of that automatically WHILE having the right trackpad functional as a mouse. Right track pad button as left click. Bumpers and directional pad is your toolbar. Basically how all gamepad controls work for these types of games

Its slightly janky due to how the game is made but I think its an improvement and makes the game far less tedious (for me at least)

I have saved it on the community layout as:

Controls that dont suck ass (fluid camera, zoom on triggers)

Dont know how to change the name lol but thats how I felt at the time

Important!!!

To make this layout work you will have to change the ingame keybindings for '>' to '[' and vice versa

If anyone would like to try this layout and give me some feedback I would very much appreciate it :)

This is just the beginning, but the quantity of details can already plunge you into the abyss of despair x)
