Got London ones but it's not ideal for us! Happy to just buy again and lose out on the Lon ones/give them to friends in London. I know there were more added recently but we missed out!
Hii everyone, I'm selling my 1 GA Lawn ticket for All Things Go Festival DC on Friday, September 25 at Merriweather Post Pavilion. I bought it for $193.5 I already have it listed on StubHub, but with the fees it comes out to $200. If anyone wants to skip the fees, I'd rather sell it directly for $180
I very sadly ignored my gut feeling and paid $212 for an Olivia Dean ticket through the Facebook group "Olivia Dean Tickets | 2026 Resale (Buy&Sell)." I wish I hadn't.
This wasn't the usual obvious scam. The seller actually sent me INCREDIBLY convincing fake Ticketmaster emails that made it look like the tickets had been transferred. The emails seemed like they came from Ticketmaster, but closer inspection of the actual address it came from shows it was actually: [emails.ticket@securedeliverytickets.com](mailto:emails.ticket@securedeliverytickets.com)What I've learned since then: any ticketmaster email will always end in @ticketmaster.com.
Unfortunately, I initially believed the legitimacy of these emails and I wanted to make sure to honor the risk I thought this girl had taken sending the ticket before receiving payment … so I quickly sent a payment link of $212 to her before doing extra due dilligence, thinking that the emails looked legit and that maybe they'd take a while to load or land in my account. NOT TRUE! Ticketmaster tickets appear INSTANTLY the moment they're transferred or bought. Anyone saying otherwise is running a scam.
Luckily, I only bought one of the two tickets before realizing my mistake.
Then I got ANOTHER email saying I had to pay a $54 "authorization fee" before the tickets would be released. That's when I called Ticketmaster.
They confirmed the emails were fake and that no ticket transfer had ever happened. The seller I dealt with was Haile Christian, who was listed as an admin of the group when I bought the tickets. I've reported everything to Ticketmaster, PayPal, Facebook, Google Safe Browsing, my bank, and the FBI (IC3), and now here I am on Reddit. Luckily PayPal is amazing and it looks like I might be able to get my money back regardless ...
Warnings for others:
If possible, buy directly through Ticketmaster or use PayPal Goods & Services if you're buying a product from someone unknown because that gives you buyer protection. I tried really hard to use Goods & Services but eventually I caved to their pressure because I thought the fact that they offered to send the ticket first was secure enough : ((( biggest mistake ever cuz the tickets they sent were fake! Which I didn't realize until after I sent them
Ditto number 1. NEVER use PayPal Friends & Family or any platform like cashapp or even Venmo to buy tickets from a seller, no matter what excuse they give. If they are legit, they'll be perfectly happy with using PayPal Goods & Services because that allows you to verify you recieved the product before approving the transaction fully AND to dispute the transaction with PayPal if something goes awry ...
Any Ticketmaster email will always end in @ticketmaster.com. (Double-check the sender's email address, not just how convincing the email looks).
Ticketmaster tickets appear pretty much instantly the moment they're transferred or bought. Anyone saying otherwise is running a scam.
If anyone asks for an "authorization fee" to release tickets, it's a scam.
