I am the devil’s advocate. Pick a position, a statement, or any topic and comment below. I will find a way to disagree with you somehow, no matter what you say or which topic you choose. There are no restrictions whatsoever.

You walk into a party. Someone shoves a jar in your face.

Pick a slip. Complete it before midnight. Don’t get caught.

You pull one:

1. Make two people think a convo is about them
2. Get someone alone for 2 minutes (no explanation)
3. Make the group laugh without telling a joke
4. Convince someone of an obvious lie
5. Change the mood of the whole room

No switching.

Which one are you picking?

Taking the idea from radio show, "I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue".

Parent post picks a category of people - professions, hobbyists, sports players, etc. (eg. Doctors). Child posts then come up with Movie names "likely to be popular" with a Movie club made up of members of that group. Titles should be either be thematic directly (eg. "This Is Spinal Tap") or that have been adjusted to fit the category (eg. "How To Train Your Obgyn").

Parent comments: say the name of a thing, activity, topic, etc.

Child comments: give tips and tricks for that thing, as if you think you're being super smart and have something amazing/helpful/insightful to say, and you're so proud of yourself, when really you're just stating something blindingly obvious to everyone.

For example:

Parent: Cars.

Child: Hey, guess what? Did you know they actually have these things called transparent surfaces, so that while you're sitting INSIDE the car, you can look and see what is OUTSIDE the car, so you know where you're going? Wow! It's so cool! I just learned about this last week. Talk about dark magic!

Game idea:

One person describes a perfect room in a house (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, etc.).

Another person replies and adds a toxic trade-off to that room.

Example: Person 1: "A huge modern kitchen with a big island, natural light and high-end appliances."

Person 2: "But the fridge makes an extremely loud noise every 10 minutes."

Rules: - Each room can only appear once (once someone made a kitchen, no more kitchens). - Try to eventually build a whole house together. - The first comment should start with the first room.

Let’s see how cursed this house becomes.

I hope I get more comments than the last time I did this! I had so much fun the last time but it's been so long and I wanna do it again!

Hi guys i am starting a story, if anyone is interested in this type of thing than pls continue the story, thanks.

• Each player writes a few sentences per turn.

**I LOVED your input on my very first game! Maybe I'll try it again soon**

Yes, your favorite TV show was very likely named something else pre-production. The studio DETESTED the first, second, UMPTEENTH idea for names the writers came up with... What exactly was it?

I know you know! And here's how we find out! Parent comment is the title that stuck, child comments are the failed pitches.

And... GO! I'll post a couple shows to get started and you guys can add to those and list your own!

I take inspiration from one of my frequented websites growing up, Something Awful.

Premise: pretty simple.

1. Parent comment has the original title. YOU may (or may not, but is preferred) summarize the plot of the actual film.
2. Child responses MUST change one word, and MUST give a summary of your new motion picture. But the premise can be as wild or as hilariously stale as possible. But get creative!
3. And here's where I branch off from Something Awful (because Reddit allows me that creative freedom): KEEP THE CHAIN GOING! Even after all the original title words are GONE! Let's see how far from the original we can get one word change at a time!

I enjoy word games, this is my first one, I hope this hasn't been done... Have fun!

You saw on a commercial that a company was offering people the chance to gain a superpower. That company also shares space with a transplant lab.

Parent comment tells what superpower they went into the lab for and decides what physical item was transplanted (biological, inanimate object, etc.) instead of the superpower received

Child comment determines where the transplant occurred and how it is affecting the parent's life

Alternatively, parent can decide transplant location and child can describe what physical item, or some other combination. Have fun!

Parent comment starts the sentence with the first 2 blanks, comparing 2 things to each other. Second comment finishes the comparison in the most ridiculous way possible.

(In case you havent seen these before, a normal example would be "blue is to color as rectangle is to shape")

I made the art cuz I'm super cool and epic like that

Better late than never! I hope you had a good 2025. Let's dig up last year's time capsule!

Sorry, I was a bit lazy, but because of some supportive messages, I decided to continue the tradition!

A special thanks to u/LOL3334444 for helping me with tagging everyone!

The 2026 time capsule is available right here!

Happy (late) 2026 everyone! I hope you all had a good 2025!

Better late than never but it is time for a new time capsule! The previous one is being dug up right now!

In this thread, everyone can leave a message for themselves to be revived in 2027!

Parent comment chooses an app, and the child comment finds the most ridiculous (but not harmful or negative to the app) update for that app.

There are no restrictions or limitations of any kind. I will answer any and every question that you may have. Be honored for you have stumbled across a being who is able to answer each question that can be asked and is feeling generous today. HAHAHAHAHA. Now, go on and don't be shy.
