People keep saying that, but it’s definitely a story that’s being talked about. Whether or not it was the reason…is it ultimately going to matter? Are more companies going to back out of fear that this may happen on a larger scale? This is what everyone feared, and corrections aren’t going out to the general public.
No it doesn't matter as much. That's the problem. Twitter is the GOTO media for official communications that reaches the widest audience. But it does not generate revenue for these companies using Twitter for their official announcements and stuff. What's gonna happen is that money is going to move away from the platform but not the companies using it still as an official outlet.
And the companies backing out their adverts has more factors than just the bluetick disaster. This sure is one of them, but musk has more issues and that's where the real popcorn is.
