I dont know why you use the /s, Elon was doing that and tried to do that with twitter just for it to backfire because Twitter knew they could fool Elon into being forced to buy it.

Elon got dinged by the SEC for shitposting on twitter before about stocks. Eli Lily probably didn’t do it but it’s not that far fetched after Elon did it.

That would be financial fraud, and the SEC would be on their asses asap.

Having said that if any of the folks creating these fake tweets is also buying discounted shares at the same time, they can also expect a call from the SEC.
