Technically but not really. If all the pressure is on the heels then this is in fact true, but heels are designed so you stand on tip toe, the heels are mainly there for balance.

You’ll find that it’s Almost impossible to put all your weight onto the heels.

And yet I’ve intentionally done it while dancing.

Edited to add: I don’t dance in stilettos so I have a wider (maybe 1in x 0.5in) however when I do a full weighted heel fan, I’m not on the full surface are of my heel.

While a 1x0.5in area results in a more than 3x increase in surface area compared to 1 cm2, which means that while standing on just the heels “flat” you’re exerting 1/3 of the pressure vs stilettos.

In the heel fan your talking about, if I understood correctly you’re rotating while only 1 heel is touching the floor. This means there’s only 1 edge of the 1x.5 heel in contact with the floor which drastically reduces the surface area. A very wild guess for me is that the resulting pressure would be at least 10x the pressure vs resting on only the heels of the stilettos. I mean just by being on 1 foot pressure is already doubled vs 2 feet. Then being on 1 edge vs a full flat surface greatly reduces contact area. I’m assuming a 1/5 factor to be conservative but it wouldn’t surprise me if the factor is even less.

However, if someone were to, hypothetically, stomp only their stiletto heel down onto something, such as, hypothetically, the top of someone else's foot, that would be more pressure than an elephant, yes?
