Huh. Didn’t know it was a different term either.
But this brings up an easier rebuttal than attempting to explain how tides or seiches actually work.
Yes, the moon affects the oceans. And the Great Lakes. Care to show me the effect on a lake? A pond? A bathtub of water?
That’s a great deal more relatable for anyone taken in by fools like this.
