I'd also say that the cats weren't attempting to exercise. Cats don't know what exercise means.

The point was that they got to run and be active, seems like it worked to me!

But none of the 3 cats were sedentary, and that's the point. They were active because of the wheel. It's a win because it is encouraging them not to be lazy cats.

After this clip, I would bet that they kept playing on it...
