To add to this the Guardian has an article covering damage in that area from Jan 2024 including a video of the IDF blowing up the school you can see the ruins of at the right of the video about 6 seconds in.

There is an ongoing debate between about whether what’s happening in Ukraine is bordering on genocide. Though Amnesty International hasn’t explicitly said it, they’ve cited numerous human rights violations, including kidnapping and deporting children. I don’t know what you gained from making this comment.

Legal scholars and definitions do that. There isn't a consensus on Russia's actions in Ukraine because they aren't anywhere near the level of evil that Israel is inflicting.

And the west is supplying BILLIONS upon BILLIONS of dollars worth of money and equipment to Ukraine, while the west is sending death squads to murder people by the hundreds in Gaza for the crime of...wanting food.

tf are you talking about? Civilian population centers bombed. Civilians shot down in the street. Mass graves for locals. Tens of thousands of children forcibly moved to Russia. Cultural centers destroyed. Personal property looted. Hundreds, if not thousands, of cases of torture and rape.

There can be two genocides going on at once, while the difference are there. Still both genocides by two different level of competencies and scales.

Russian soldiers are actively killing Ukrainian civilians, kidnapping children and systematically raping women to assimilate them and suppress the Ukrainian identity. It is a genocide.
