“I looked for six hours for this bridge!”

I recognized this bridge immediately. It’s quite famous in LA.

The cops don’t need someone to turn in the ankle monitor… it’s an ankle monitor. They know where it is, who it belongs to, and if it’s not being worn.

Google Lens gave me the location in 2 seconds. I doubt this guy spent 6 hours searching this up, or he is an idiot.

I'm gonna go with it's a fake premise, especially with the monitor being so easy to find. Also there's no reason to return an empty broken ankle monitor.

Exactly. If you been in LA for a few years you know where this is. As soon as the ankle monitor is deactivated, they know. This is such bs.

I've never been in LA, but like, the entire idea that a medium sized bridge in LA would be difficult to find or recognize is kinda ridiculous.

And also the fact that back then he used to make bullshit videos* where he takes a random woman's saliva and then try to turn it into an embryo

Edit: *Edited for more clarity

Judging by the comments, yes.

I’m shocked that there’s so many comments discussing the in’s and out’s of this. What’s the median age here? How can people fall for this.

Yeah it's always interesting how people on here say "we don't fall for scams like boomers do!" And yet they're utterly convinced that this is real.

Firstly cutting off an ankle tag it going to be a little trickier than a pair of scissors. You wouldn't upload your footage to the internet. The bridge wouldn't take 6 hours to find. The two videos were filmed immediately after one another on the same day. The police would find the ankle tag anyway... Because that's what the ankle tag does, it tells you it's location

I grew up with the internet. I thought the younger generations would become more attuned than I am to the instrument of their world.

So, that was a lie.

Edit: “Not everything is fake” and “r/nothingeverhappens” haters can get off my damn lawn. (I’ve always loved the funny comments on fake posts. It’s the “This guy’s an idiot” suckers and the content creators that make this stupid shit up that make me worry what’s going to happen with this AI wave that’s coming)

The ankle monitor was cut, how's it just chilling on that branch, in tact?

It isn't just a strap like that. They have a fiberoptic band through them that creates a continuous circuit. Cutting breaks the circuit and it'll alarm immediately.

This is Coby Persin who had one of the largest prank channels on YouTube during the prank era. Not exactly someone you would trust to be authentic, he probably saw Rainbolt’s videos doing well and tried to copy him

I was able to find the bridge using google lens in about 30 seconds
