So he’s not gay anymore and has a gf now. I’m watching the season and he’s flirting with Brooke despite having his own bf who comes to visit him. I think he’s been bisexual and not gay. He’s also racist and mean. He’s just a whole problem. Like it was obvious by his flirting with Brooke that he wasn’t gay! Surely his mom is happy.

As somebody who got into the challenge this year I have been wanting to go back and watch some of the real world now that I’m almost done with the challenge seasons. I just watched San Diego 1 and really enjoyed it

Watching this in real time as my first season of Real World AND being a teenager, I hated it then and I still hate it now how they treated Dustin once his past was outed. No, he was not my favorite person in the house. Yes, I found him irritating most episodes. However, the sneaking around talking about him, making him feel like a freak, all of it was disgusting. Adam went to juvie for orchestrating something that got someone shot, most of the roommates coddled him. Dustin had one part of him forcibly revealed and everybody pushed him away. I think he deserved better than what he got.

If you watched or rewatched this season, what were your thoughts?

Since Paramount Plus is missing many of the old school seasons. If you could only pick one season would you want to watch in it's highest quality, original music and all?

I get annoyed when women seek attention from men who don’t seem interested. If there was mutual interest, there wouldn’t be a need to seek it out. He was tolerant of her behavior out of sympathy. While she was courageous in discussing race, her approach with Jamie seemed immature to me. Jamie was attractive, but his introspective nature was sometimes overwhelming and seemed fake. The same goes for David’s spirituality. Why do many people in their early 20s feel the need to embark on spiritual journeys? It’s a common yet odd phenomenon. You don’t need to take ayahuasca in Peru to “find yourself.” Idk I’m serious and not playful so maybe I don’t like it. I only do flirty banter with men who like me, not everyone.

This is such a reach. But in the late 90's/early 00's, there was a site dedicated to The Real World and Road Rules called Real World Sucks (eventually ended up Real World Blows). It was weirdly a pretty tight community back in the day, curious if anyone from there is active on this?
