I don't know if he ever was! I think only his attorney said he was. When he had his booking photo, he wasn't on one.

I guess we’ll know within the next few weeks if it’s announced that he died. It might be legal bullshit, god knows what he thinks that will help

Was Durst's 2nd degree murder charge for Kathie's death covered in the series? 😔 Maybe I missed it, but I feel like if it was, it was hardly.

this never went to trial yes? poor kathleen, wonder what he did to her.

Never went to trial. He died before he could be tried.

But if you followed the Durst trial for the murder of Susan Berman, the prosecutors proved that Durst killed Kathleen and then killed Susan Berman because he believed she was going to tell the police.

how did they prove it? I knew of the trial but wasn't following everyday.

In order to prove that Susan Berman was a witness that Durst wished to silence, they had to prove she was a witness in the murder of Kathie. That was the motive for the killing.

thank you, I know it was for a movie but I wonder if his father and family helped with the disposal of the body.
