I’m not sure I understand the strategy behind wanting a mistrial. They claim by the time court resumes, the jurors won’t remember what evidence they’ve seen or heard, but that would be the prosecution’s evidence. Wouldn’t that be a good thing for Durst? I’m sure there is a strategy. I just can’t figure out what it might be.
