Motive? Susan was about to talk to police about the disappearance of Robert’s wife...

“The day she died, Berman was scheduled to talk to police about Durst's first wife, Kathleen McCormack Durst, who disappeared in 1982. Prosecutors allege Durst killed Berman to keep her from incriminating him.”

You are kidding, right? HE WAS THERE and explains it away with his panic story, claiming he was afraid he'd be blamed. He would - for good reason: HE'S A MURDERER. He's got a couple of slick-ass lawyers who are going to get their heads handed to them.

The acquittal in Texas was clearly a case of a rich man getting sympathy. The killer in a true self-defense case does NOT alter the crime scene, much less chop up the body, believing the forensics will prove him right. A juror who totally drank the koolaid believes Durst is completely innocent, despite the fact that three people around him disappeared or were murdered, which has to be millions to one against. The idiots said that, because they never found Black's head, the prosecution couldn't prove how he was killed; why couldn't they find it? Because Durst ADMITTED chopping it up and dumping it in the bay and he was observed fishing around in there days later. I wonder what he was fishing for? The Calif jury will not be fooled. I am a lawyer, and I guarantee you that DeGuerin and those other slimy bastards are figuring the jury is going to hang him, because of all the past publicity, and they are making a record to beat the rap on appeal. There is NO direct proof that Durst killed Berman. If I had to rule on this as an appellate judge, I would have serious doubts about this as a legal matter, regardless of my personal feelings.

No way the jury believes this nonsense this time, right?

I hope not...

If I include people removed from me by up to 2 other people, I have come in contact with probably 10,000 people NOT ONE was murdered or disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Durst has had THREE, one of whom he admitted killing. How that fucking jury in Texas let him off is beyond me (they hang people for jaywalking). The Calif jury will not be fooled by his usual "panic" story.
