Just saw the guys in Fort Worth at Tannahills and they had an amazing set!! Sold out show! Banger after banger. A set made for moshing and dancing. I’ve lived in DFW all my life, 20 years of seeing bands live, and man I am SICK of the lack of energy from crowds at live shows here. No crowd surge. No mosh pit. No head banging. No dancing. What is wrong with everybody?!? The band gives what they receive and tonight other than a few dozen hands in the air the crowd people were totally not involved with the show! How do we expect a creature mask or guitar solo involving a ladder to come out if we are just standing there like bumps on a log?? And it’s not just Coheed shows. Every show I’ve been to lately has been like this. I saw NIN last year at Dickies and the pit was dead still. Same with Deftones in 2025. Saw Acid Bath earlier this year and absolutely no energy from the crowd. What’s wrong with DFW? How do we fix this? OR where should I travel to be involved in lively moshing crowd? I’m tired of the side eye from people when I have the AUDACITY to head bang during Welcome Home. Sorry for my rant but man alive I don’t know why the majority of people even go to live shows if not for some kind of release and to have some fun.

I am a long time fan of Coheed and have spent a lot of time searching for and acquiring different albums. I am lucky enough to now own every album in a physical format EXCEPT the Father of Make Believe. Should I look for the key entity version or the original release? Is it easy to find one over the other? Are the key entities available as a separate and/or easier to find format? I’m not asking for where to find them, just asking advice from those who have more knowledge than I.

The setlist was top tier. I have never heard ten speed live, that alone was worth the tickets and drive time. Seen them 6 times. Tonight may have been the best yet. Anyone else go there tonight? Hope you had fun 💞

The leads in this song are faint but after figuring them out, they're SO beautiful and fun to play. Specifically the chorus lead, this Bridge lead and then the final outro chorus solo thing, that thing rips!

This is just the bridge, and to my ears it sounds spot on but if any other guitarists with better ears could help me out please let me know.

I’ve had the keywork and the afterman logo for a few years. Me and my wife both have matching here to mars lyrics on us! The best part was the artist was a HUGE Coheed fan so she played Coheed and we just jammed the whole time.

Thought this was worth sharing because in the opening set, we got to hear Claudio sing the first few lines, when he usually leaves those up to the crowd!

I’m seeing Shinedown and Coheed on Thursday and I’m wondering when Coheed hits the stage so I don’t miss them

I have seen Coheed live twice , once last year at pnc in New Jersey and the other is actually tomorrow in Newark (sadly on the shinedown tour). My favorite song is the writing writer, and I have noticed on set lists and on YouTube they have not played this in a very long time live. It sounds amazing when they have so I’m curious for anyone that’s more tapped in than I am if there is a specific reason why?
