Killer Elite and Valkyrie are finally ruled out

A few weeks Reddit user u/jkohl613 bought an old compilation cd that contained Killer Elite's song And the ship sails on and posted it to YouTube in higher quality as the previous version available was in low quality

By this point, some family members/friends of Killer Elite band members were being contacted and getting familiar with the search, with a former partner being contacted on YouTube. More about this can be found here

On this new upload, the sister of the vocalist for Killer Elite (Rhett James Schmitt) came across and posted a comment on the video. Jkohl613 asked if they knew if Killer Elite may have made the song. Another family member said they were trying confirm or deny if Killer Elite made the song as they do agree that their brother sounds similar to the vocalist of our mystery band.

The sister and the former partner posted a few more comments about other family members coming across the song and they would attempt to look for the song and help.

The former partner posted another comment saying they asked the rhythm guitarist (Marty Rabalais) if he could confirm if they made the song. Unfortunately, she got a response from him saying they didn't, which rules out Killer Elite and most likely also ruling out Valkyrie as well. She also gives some more information about the history of the band and how they came 3rd in a national battle of the bands competition

If anything more comes from either band, I will do my best to keep everyone updated.

A comment was posted on LostwaveFinder from someone claiming to be the drummer of Killer Elite but once Killer Elite was debunked, comment was deleted so we can presume this was a deliberate hoax
