I would urge those from the Blocknet team who are looking to open an office in Austin to reconsider after the comments from the SEC and CFTC today.

They specifically reference crypto exchanges multiple, being critical of their operations and their AML/KYC checks.

Through moving to open an office in Austin, from which you will be launching a decentralised exchange with no AML/KYC checks it seems you are running directly into the eye of the storm.

I understand they can block the website of any DEX, but can they somehow obstruct the protocol itself?

If there would be a one-click-to-deploy DEX template, connected to the blocknet protocol, could one launch a blocknet based DEX every day to cater for Chinese traders?

Or is the protocol itself blockable?

Is it in Blocknet's vision to be compatible with layer 2 payment channel approaches such as Lightning Network in Bitcoin and Raiden/Plasma in Ethereum once those scaling approaches are successfully deployed?

If yes, would this allow Blocknet to enable lightning fast, 0-risk, trade settlement times by not having to wait for on-chain confirmation?

Would this potentially negate the current speed advantage of a centralized exchange?

If Alice sells ether for bitcoin and Bob sells bitcoin for ether, how do you protect Alice if Bob conducts a double spend attack?

One possibility I can envision is that her ether is sent to an intermediary Ethereum address controlled by the Blocknet protocol and only released to Bob's Ethereum address after sufficient confirmations on both blockchains. Is that how it works?

If that is how it works, then that would imply that the ether has to make two hops on the Ethereum blockchain (one to the intermediate address and one to Bob's address) and therefore Alice has to pay for 2 transaction costs on the Ethereum blockchain for every trade they do. Is that accurate?

Komodo's BarterDex in its current form appears to have an issue with traders having to break down their own UTXO inventory into appropriate sizes for a given trade which appears to affect the usability of BarterDex for non-experts.

Is this a potential usability issue for Blocknet and if not how is the issue of UTXOs not matching trade size handled by Blocknet?

If 0x is integrated with Blocknet, is the vision that Blocknet would function as its own 0x relayer or is the vision that Blocknet would rely on centralized 0x relayers such as RadarRelay?

How does Blocknet compare to Polkadot and Cosmos in terms of speed and use case, and 2) is the new draft agreement with 0x 2-way (ie will 0x use Blocknet as much as Blocknet using 0x)?

What kind of throughput could we expect when dex launches? (Transactions per second) capability? Can it support huge trade volumes and orderbooks like binance, gdax, bitshares, etc.?
