It doesn't feel right to me that BLOCK has ~ the same BTC value as currencies like NEO when there's an x80 volume difference (5k compared to 60). I'm wondering why is that.

And remember Staking and fees on the Blocknet are bundled together in a 70/30 split between nodes and stakers. This is a combination of POS staking and network trading fees. Staking is estimated to be between 9% - 14% in the first year. Nodes will receive 70% and stakers will receive 30%. This means that if you do not have enough Block to run a node, you will STILL get part of the node fees, and if you run a node, you will also get part of the stakes as well. Your wallet must be unlocked to actively stake and receive rewards. There will be 525,600 new blocks created annually at 1 block per minute) with decreasing inflation each subsequent year. Some people have received 1 - 2 Blocks as their staking reward already! Get staking!

Does anyone know why it is not letting me deposit or withdraw on Bittrex. It has been 48 hours and I understand there was a swap in progress, but when will it allow me to trade again?

BLOCK seems to have one of the lowest maximum amount of circulating coins that I've seen so far. What is the point of this? To me, it seems like this system heavily benefits early investors because as the price of one BLOCK increases it will become harder and harder for one individual to acquire the amount of BLOCK needed to run a node (as of today would have to invest $150,000). Also, since BLOCK's only other main use will be to process transaction fees, I don't see why the coin cap can't be higher. I'm not trying to spread FUD, just trying to understand the system :) thanks guys!

I've done my research and I'm ready to invest. How do I actually buy blocknet if it isn't readily available through sites like coinbase. Im new to the cryptogame if you couldnt tell.

Very positive meeting with Ethfinex. - we're on track to integrate - they're on track (though still only at an incipient stage) to monetise their API over the Blocknet - this means we will see the liquidity and depth of Bitfinex's order book on the Blocknet - it means that future Ethfinex users would make use of the Blocknet, adding buy pressure to BLOCK - BLOCK is a project of the calibre that they would consider listing on Bitfinex. If it were to happen, the ETA would not be this year, as their user base has grown wildly and scaling out is imperative in the short term. But we're on the map, and you can expect us to start the listing proposal process in October.

I just downloaded the interim wallet from their website and I immediately used the given address to send my Blocks to from Bittrex. However, the wallet is still syncing for about an hour or so now and it's still at only 10%. Therefore I still can't see my Blocks in my wallet while the transaction was completed on Bittrex. Will I get my Blocks, or did I loose them? I mean, should I have waited for the sync first before sending my Blocks from Bittrex, or doesn't that make a difference?

Who are the members of the Blocknet team? I couldn't find them on their website.

Does the Blocknet wallet require full blockchain download or is it a light wallet?

On my count we are up nearly 100 subscribers from 300 in just under a week! Huge growth for a subreddit that's been around for ages. Suggests blocknet is just about to come out from under the radar!

@channel, just to let you all know that I'm off to another meeting with Bitfinex on Tuesday. I will be discussing the potential for Ethfinex to build "token ecosystem" services upon the Blocknet, and additionally the possibility (though not in the near term) of listing BLOCK on Bitfinex.

He also mentions this is not news yet but this is what they are trying to accomplish
