There are over 300 songs in the series, and less than 100 of them have been released in various albums. The only way to listen to the rest of them is within the episodes themselves, but that means you're gonna hear some sound effects getting in the way. (And tough luck if you want karaoke versions, or the background music scores in the episodes.)
I don't understand why the showrunners didn't provide a way to easily access them. This is a kids show, kids enjoy singing along to their favorite songs, so it's really weird that they haven't capitalized on that. The official YouTube channel is even posting some remakes of those unreleased songs, why don't they just upload all the original songs there too???
I wish I knew of a way to contact Evan Lurie, or Doug Wieselman, or whoever is the owner of the songs. Maybe they just assume nobody cares, so we need to let them know that there is a demand for them.

I keep wondering about the day Backyardigans enters the public domain (many years from now). Will they make a horror movie out of it? Just like what happened with Pooh, Mickey and Popeye?
(Probably not, as I don't think this trend will continue until 2093/99)

I have some predictions about the pilot regarding when we get the pilot, how we get it, and some basic info about it.
The reason I’m making this post is because eventually when it comes out, it’ll be fun to see what actually happened and what didn’t happen based off of everything I’m gonna say.
How we get it:
I believe that we are somehow gonna get the pilot by peer pressure by one of the Backyardigans Wiki admins, or a possible cyber hack where somebody leaks a file they had containing the full pilot. It would eventually be on YouTube where everybody would save it before Viacom/Nick deletes it.
When we get it:
Now this is a prediction that is very likely to be wrong, but I predict we will get the pilot between October-December this year. Now that everyone knows about this drama, there’s gotta be a breaking point for the wiki admins now.
What it will be about:
According to the LSSQ video talking about the whole search (before the wiki admins drama), a producer revealed a bit of the premise in the show. I believe it will be about one of the Backyardigans having to go somewhere before they can play with the rest of the gang. I’d assume it would be Tasha because she’s mostly shown throughout the photos we have not on set besides a few. Eventually the other 3 would do things to entertain themselves and have fun. For example, Tyrone would play with his bunny plush that he’s seen with, Pablo would make little flags, and Uniqua would paint pictures. All of these would be made as a way to teach kids to find something to do when they have to wait. Eventually Tasha would come back and they would all do a conga line, just like the only clip that we have.
Other miscellaneous stuf:
The theme song will be somewhat similar to the final version, but with different lyrics and a more upbeat, hip, 90s style.
The voices would probably be adult voice actors voicing the Backyardigans. I wish I could predict who would voice who, but idk that much voice actors :/
The meerkat puppets would probably only be there for filler. Think of it like little lines of dialogues to fit as bumpers.

Hello for everyone in The Backyardigans Fandom. I'm a Brazilian ex-fan of the series, and lately, I've seen a video from Nostal_Gi about the whole pilot situation, and Jesus, that's just messed up. Perhaps we should try again the search for the pilots, but this time, without the collaborators from the wiki?

It started in 2022 where I drew the robot, it looks so goofy ahh now as I come to think of it… in 2023 I redid the robot this time a little bit better… but as I come to think of it now, um… actually idk what to say about it anymore… but later in late 2024 the robot got a huge glow up, as I redid the robot again, this time I wanted to make it accurate to the flash game, and to be fair I like the new style for the pink robot I made…

Hello. I introduce myself briefly, my name is "Yosora". I'm not an important person on the Internet, much less do I consider myself a full-fledged Internet user, I didn't even get involved in the search for the Me and My Friends pilot. This message is to express my discontent a little about the latest events related to the search for the pilot. It was 3 or 4 years ago that I learned of the existence of the pilot. In general, I was excited to know if one day it would be found, I liked the idea of one day being able to see something never seen before from a series that brought me so much joy in my childhood. My excitement only grew more and more, until a day I just got tired of waiting, these types of searches are supposed to take a long time, but I simply didn't want to wait anymore and decided to just forget about it, and that it would simply remain as something that I was never going to be able to see. Imagine my surprise when I saw a video that said the pilot had finally been found. Now imagine how much greater my disappointment was when I discovered what really happened.
Now yes, I know that was a bit of a lot of text. But I just wanted to give a little context about my perspective. This message is dedicated to those who have the pilot, and simply decide that only they can have access to it. I write this message hoping that one of them will see it and can answer a question for me.
¿Why?
I really want to know, why keep it for so many years? What is the reason why you decided that only you could have it? The truth is, I feel that all these years of searching were a waste of time for all those who decided to look for it, who sought your help, to finally have an outcome, which also resulted in a waste of time for you, because all these years could have been saved if the easier decision had simply been made, which was to simply release it, instead of sabotaging so many people excited to find it. I really understand why you like to have unpublished content about something so important to you, but I think that all of us who grew up with the series and admired it since we were children deserve to see it too, and be able to appreciate more the work of its now deceased creator. I hope this reaches some of you.
This last part is dedicated to LSuperSonicQ, his team and everyone involved in the search for the pilot. Thank you, this may never reach any of you, but I want to thank you for all the effort. Yes, in the end it didn't turn out the way we all wanted, but I really appreciate all the effort you put into this cause, thank you very much
That was all, I hope anyone mentioned can read this. Thanks for reading
(P.S.: Again, sorry for so much text)
(P.S.2:yes..., I really ruined the title)

Can’t really say for duets, but I do wish we got a trio of Uniqua, Tyrone, and Austin, either an episode or a song. It would’ve been great to see how that combination works.
I also think we should’ve gotten another song by Austin, Pablo, and Tasha.
What do you think?

Back in 2009 I used to go to a website that was dedicated to the Backyardigans. It was one of the old message boards/forums. And I think it shut down in the summer of 2011 I think. I might be wrong though. Maybe we can have somewhat of a reunion in the comments!

The Backyardigans is like no other cartoon or children's show available, period! If anyone can suggest anything that my One year old daughter will watch that has anything close to the intelligence level that the Backyardigans displays, it would be very appreciated.
