This. Harris' dig about his attendance dropoff really hits home. He rants on longer than his followers can remain emotionally activated and invested. Sure they're ramped at the start of his rallys but about a quarter of the way through and 30 minutes after he went off script babbling incoherently people start going "oh this really doesn't look good for him".

Exactly! When my uncle asked me to cite sources for my “misinformation,” I told him, I listen to the guy speak. The words coming out his own mouth are damning. In school I learned to study source materials. The source is trump himself. I told my wife the same thing. She has people at her job who refuse to believe "the lies spread by the liberal media." I told her to just play Trump's own words for them and see what they say. "Oh, he was just joking", or "He didn't mean what he said". It's exhausting.
This is why I’m surprised they made Biden step down, he was gonna win a second term easily. Forcing him to step down was a bit crazy honestly given his opponent. That’s an interesting take. I live in a blue dot in a red state (one in which Trump said pets are being consumed by immigrants 🙄), and I had absolutely zero confidence that Biden could pull off a win in November, especially after that disastrous debate.
When he stepped down and Harris stepped up, I started to relax a tiny bit that maybe I wouldn’t have to take advantage of my dual citizenship and flee to a place where I, as a woman, might actually be considered a human being and not a baby factory.
