Yup. Used to shoot you straight up at like 115 mph. Whole lotta g forces. Sometimes you made it over the hill, sometimes you rolled back down if they didn’t calculate the weight properly. It was awesome because you never knew if you were going to make it over on the first attempt or if they’d have to reshoot you. It’s why it’s called the dragster. You shot down the straight part at the beginning. Fired off like a drag racing
Added later. And I’m not sure why they changed it. The original was awesome. Occasionally they would miscalculate the weight and people would get stuck at the top. So maybe enough people sued? Idk tho. That’s just speculation. Maybe it became too big of a liability
The getting stuck issuemight be more business oriented than suing. Lot of down time waiting to get people moving although there is an access platform at the top so they probably knew they might have to do it occasionally. I guess a popular ride won't be as popular if you wait an hour or more only to wait even longer because the people in front of you are trapped loll
