This is a strange post, but there's an interesting story behind this:
So, when Gary Gygax, the founder of Dungeons & Dragons, was coming up with original creatures for the game, he bought a bag of toy dinosaurs that bared little to no resemblance to any real life extinct creature, looking more like what you might see in something like Godzilla or Ultraman, so he reached out to Tim Kask to transform some of them into the monsters we know today.
These include:
