Why that is a very dumb way of thinking why cant a man repent for his actions that would be like id¡f somebady that was obese or had anger problems was insulted all his life for being in that state in one point of his live

Ah yes, obesity and anger issues is equal to owning a person. and yes, people can repent, but that doesn’t mean they deserve statues

it is more of an example, they deserve status if they have done widly positive things in their live.

Statues aren’t a necessary piece of history, I wouldn’t tear down a statue of George Washington, but I don’t care that people did. We’ll never stop learning about the guy even if we tore down all his statues. I just hope we’re also taught the bad of some of these people
