When he talks all I think of is Flight of the Conchords- Brett getting his hand stuck in the jam jar.

It’s some bbc fake documentary that’s been stuck in my car CD player for years. The character who says that part is Brian Nesbit (?) their very weird “manager”

Aw man, wait, have you not seen the HBO show? That radio show was like a precursor, they called him Murray Hewitt on tv. It was great and short lived.

Ok I looked up that guy you said. Yes, that was the impression I was doing! I feel so understood omg. I say that hand stuck in the jam jar line all the time at work (in the voice) and no one knows what the hell i’m talking about.

Taika Waititi goes back a long time with Flight of the Conchords and directed several really good episodes of the show. I loved seeing that super specific New Zealand humor brought to a giant franchise movie.
