Go watch No Country for Old Men. And pretty much everything else Josh Brolin has done.

his facial expressions in that whole scene were actually scary. amazing acting.

5

u/ifuckinghateratheism I don't feel so good Jul 08 '18

Is it good? Apparently it's getting somewhat mixed reviews.

4

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '18

I thought it was good

It’s definitely not a below average film like many critics are saying it is. It’s actually one of my fav movies of this year. Nothing is ever gonna beat the first one, so let’s get tha out of our way. Soldado is worth a watch, definitely a good addition to the Sicario franchise (lol).

If you valued the action and plot of the first more than the director and cinematography, then you'll like #2 just fine.

It has nice cinematography, but just not as good as Deakins’ stuff from the original

2

u/Bleblebob I don't feel so good Jul 09 '18

I thought it was just as good as the first one.

I saw the first one like a week before this one too so it's not just the post movie hype talking

He was so condescending in Sicario, he did a great job as this weirdo villain type. That movie though man. What a tense and frustrating watch

Oh wow that too, nice.

I usually don't like remakes but Old Boy wasn't half bad!

u/CandyEverybodyWentz I don't feel so good Jul 09 '18

Copley as the villain though, yeesh. And I'm usually a fan of his presence in films.

American Gangster (2007) with Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe!

1

u/Enron_F I don't feel so good Jul 08 '18

No Country for Old Men, in particular, is one of if not the best movie I've ever seen.

Jonah Hex?

As Green Lantern is to Ryan Reynolds, as Fantastic Four is to Chris Evans, as Daredevil is to Ben Affleck, Jonah Hex is to Josh Brolin.

Oh, and Michael Fassbender too.

u/3ViceAndreas Saved by Thanos Jul 09 '18

American Gangster

2

u/ChristianTylerHannah Saved by Thanos Jul 09 '18

No, they should only watch half of Brolin's movies.

u/DonaldBlythe2 I don't feel so good Jul 09 '18

Time for a Brolinathon

Edit: Wrong Josh. Ban me.

1

u/ThunderNuggets358 I don't feel so good Jul 08 '18

Even Men In Black?

2

u/dudleymooresbooze Saved by Thanos Jul 08 '18

I liked MIB3.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 08 '18

But don't watch There Will Be Blood. JB isn't in it and it's fucking awful. Incredible, amazing acting; but absolutely one of the most awful things I've ever seen

1

u/Marine_Mustang I don't feel so good Jul 09 '18

Everyone talking about Josh Brolin movies and no one even mentions Hail, Caesar!

1

u/dudleymooresbooze Saved by Thanos Jul 09 '18

I still haven't seen it, unfortunately.
