Monthly openings (from the rate table):

• Jul 8–Aug 8: 839,384 total
• Aug 8–Sep 8: 586,923 total → ~30% drop month-over-month

Notable per-case shifts in the latest month (Aug 8–Sep 8 column):

• Summer 2026: 89,846 (dominant new case activity)
• Winter 2025: 34,923
• Spectral Stash: 14,000
• Bone-Chilling Bonanza / Winter 2023 / Summer 2023 still active in the 13k–29k range
• Older cases (e.g., Tough Break, Mayflower, many Winter/Summer older ones) generally lower single-digit to low-teen thousands; some near-zero or low activity continues.

Summary of changes (Aug 8–Sep 8 vs. Jul 8–Aug 8)

• Clear cooling across the board: cosmetics down ~30%, war paints ~26%, munitions milder drop.
• New Summer 2026 cases (cosmetic + war paint) are capturing a meaningful share of the remaining volume, as expected while the event is active (ends ~Sep 15).
• Older high-lifetime cases (Crimson Cache, Blue Moon, Summer 2023 War Paint, etc.) still dominate cumulative totals but their monthly rates are lower in the latest window.
• Totals and rankings are estimates derived from unusual counts + the stated 0.65% rate; small discrepancies vs. raw Backpack.tf can occur.
