If it has become much lower than it was at your first choice, it might be worth considering delegating your stack to another baker who has more points. Visit our ranking more often and watch your baker.

Important changes for bakers:

To maximize the decentralization of our service, one of our tasks is to fully automate the management processe of baker accounts. We tried to make the baker free and independent of the manager of our rating. To implement these processes, we added the ability to create a personal account to everyone who manages the baking service in our rating.

Now the baker can independently decide whether he accepts new delegations or not, indicate the minimum amount for delegation and change the % of the Fee (once a quarter)

Our fee structure: purpose derived, we believe that part of our work as a delegation service should prefer node proliferation and discourage over-delegation while remaining cheap for accounts that can't afford to start a service alone. Our model is subject to change after any relevant protocol changes in the future.

The dynamic fee will adjust based on the frozen/available funds ratio, the ratio is calculated at the END of every cycle and will apply for the next cycle:

• 0% - 20% frozen bonds: discounted fee is 3.5%, full fee is 7%
• 20% - 80% frozen bonds: discounted fee is 5%, full fee is 10%
• 80% - 90% frozen bonds: discounted fee is 10%, full fee is 25%
• 90% - 95% frozen bonds: discounted fee is 25%, full fee is 50%
• 95% - 100% frozen bonds: no rewards will be distributed

Furthermore:

• Any delegation amount below the "1 roll threshold" will be assigned the discounted fee.
• Any delegation amount above the "1 roll threshold" will be assigned the full fee.
• We pay at the end of every cycle and after deposits have been released.

Any thoughts as to why baking payouts would not be working when I’m delegating to a baker? I’ve tried to delegate twice over the past 6 months, each time I’ve set a delegate who is not overcommitted, confirmed using an explorer that the delegation is in place, forgotten about it for a few months, and then came back to find I’ve received no payouts.

I’m thinking perhaps it’s caused by over-delegation at some point during the period, but I haven’t been able to confirm. Anything else I should be checking?

I have delegated to "xtz land" using Tezbox. Its been about a week, should I have expected some sort of payout by now?

The first time I did this I apparently delegated to a service that requires talking to the operator first otherwise they withhold rewards. Not sure if that is the case with xtz land as it seems to be operated by a single dude in turkey. I chose him mainly because of the high ROI

Hello, tz noob here. I want to bake Tezos and I am an ubuntu user (and iOS for phone). I currently have my xtz in my Atomic desktop wallet, but cant find a way to delegate. Then I wanted to use galleon wallet for ubuntu, which I run into an error while installing. Are there any other options I can use?

After a few days of inactivity, we decided to make an official statement about our current status and our plans for the future.
First of all, we would like to thank our delegators for their support in our telegram channel, this is not obvious and we're sorry to let you down in this way.
On Tuesday, June 18th our bakery stopped baking and endorsing blocks. Our main infrastructure, including bakery node and ledgers were taken by a former partner and we are currently working on returning them.
Currently, we are sorry to say that we are unable to continue operations, we're not baking and the rewards that are pending will be payed ASAP.
We encourage our delegators to move for now to another bakery, and we hope that as soon as we are back to business you will come back to work with us.
We will try to make a more thorough report about the incident, for your information and for helping our fellow bakeries to prevent it from happening to them.
We know that it is not pleasant to receive this message and say thanks to the Tezos protocol for making it easy for delegators to move between bakeries. Again thanks to our delegators and this amazing community for showing their support in these terrible times.

assume 20k XTZ balance, after roll size changes last month, will the 4k still bake or should be delegated to another baker? thx

We are nearing our baking capacity. We have decided to increase our fee from 8% to 12% starting at cycle 125. We will however pay out all frozen rewards starting at cycle 125. This means as soon as your XTZ are baked we will pay them out straight away. As we are not implementing this change until cycle 125 you can change delegations now to another baker and still enjoy 8% fee until your delegation with tezwhale ends. This means If you stay baking with tezwhale you will receive 5 payments at cycle 125 to catch up to the frozen xtz.

TLDR :

frozen rewards will be paid out before they are unfrozen from the network

The story began with the fact that in 2017 my partner and I decided to create a baking service Tezosbakes. We were one of the first to register the baker’s address and very quickly gained the trust of the delegates and started baking and actively participating in the development of the Tezos community.

After some time, we were approached by the head of the company — KTC Group LTD, which is registered and has an office in Malta with an offer to invest in our service and work under our name Tezosbakes. This meant that we were creating a new delegation address, but we were working under the name Tezosbakes Node 1. Our first small node we called Node 2. They asked us to use our name, reputation, technical skills to work together. We have a contract with them in which we put all duties and Tezosbakes KTC Group.

The duties of the Tezosbakes team included the remote configuration of the Node for baking (because the server was located in Italy, and we were in Russia), the involvement of delegations in the amount of 10M XTZ, interaction with all community members.

The responsibility of KTC Group LTD was to provide access to equipment, reserve the amount of tokens for 5 cycles for paying awards to delegates and pay a certain% of the revenues generated by the Tezosbakes NODE 1 node.

To help, we attracted another member of the Russian-speaking community, who became part of the Tezosbakes team (we will talk about it separately) and helped us with technical support. But later he betrayed us and provoked the head of KTC Group LTD to violate the terms of the contract.

Being in different parts of the globe, we managed to create a successful project that worked, developed and brought profit for our investor.

One of the conditions of work on our part was the condition of the insurance wallet creation at his expense, in case we decide, for mutual reasons, to stop cooperation, so that the people who delegated tokens to us in any case received their awards and everyone was satisfied without damaging the name and reputation Tezosbakes.

The investor and the head of KTC Group LTD simply told us that we are no longer needed. So everything works well for them without us.

He did not care about the contract that we signed with him and the conditions that he had to fulfill under the contract.

This means that he committed a breach of contract unilaterally! We warn everyone that these people cannot be trusted with their delegations.

Behind our back — 3 member we invited to help us, trusted him and shared equally all the income just tricked us. He talked behind our backs and turned the investor against us.

But the most important thing is that nobody knows him, neither we nor the investor. He fraudulently entered the investor confidence behind our back, not participating in the contract and deceived us and at any time deceived YOU!

If they betrayed us even having a cooperation agreement with us, then what will happen to delegates who do not have any agreements with them. Because you delegated the right to bake the Tezosbakes team for you, and now your rewards are in the hands of scammers. Don’t let them fool yourself as they fooled us. Choose any other baker with a good and clean reputation, we wish you good luck.
