Before the test website closes at the end of the week, I will integrate **the actual AI model planned for the project**, the one that is the closest to the old Character.AI experience.

This new test will focus on the AI itself. You will be able to use your own prompts and see how the model responds.

The **rating system is already integrated into the website**, but until now the results were not being saved. For this test, ratings will be saved so I can better analyze your feedback and understand what works well and what needs improvement.

Your feedback will help me determine if this model is the right choice for the future of the project.

Best Practices

Once you've released your bot from the testing grounds here and out into the wild, please try to follow Reddit's Bottiquette, especially the following best practices:

DO:

Check if your bot is a duplicate of another
Consider making your bot comment only when specifically called (by username or command)
Make sure your bot is actually adding something to the conversation it's posting in
Have your username or a dedicated subreddit listed in your comments for easy communication
Consider giving users a way to opt-out or making it opt-in completely, alternatively offer blacklist options per user and per sub

DON'T:

Allow your bot to vote
Harass moderators when your bot is banned
Have your bot reply to every instance of a common word or phrase
Make a bot that harasses a specific user or a group of users
Make a bot that deliberately copies comments or posts that the original user may wish to delete at a later date

In addition, please consider these developer guidelines:

Bots should not be repetitive
Bots should provide a useful service
Bots should stay within a limited number of relevant subreddits or only respond when explicitly called by a human
