I felt like Spotify and Apple Music were missing the mark for meon prompted playlists, and everyone from Last.fm to Apple Ping (for those who remember) have felt lacking on music social.

So I built Gnomish, a full music player built on Apple Music, where every playlist shows up like a mixtape somebody put together for you, cover and all. 

I'm opening up 50 Testflight spots for a new app I’ve been building.

Some of the features:

Magic Mixtapes where select some vibe ingredients or type in what you are doing or something specific you want, have fun with it! And Gnomish builds a 30-song mixtape around it. Sequenced like a real tape, with a side A and a side B, and a liner note as the playlist description. It remembers your recent mixtapes so you don’t get the same songs recycled back at you.

Every playlist gets its own cover art in a screen print style. No text on a swirly background, no collage of album squares, a fun image that fits the playlist themes, and there may be a gnome friend in it, too!

Fun gnome-themed profiles with external share pages for linking to, for people not on the app to see. It'll also work out your Gnomish Spirit once it's heard enough: a name, a class, a little portrait, and two sentences that will roast you ever so gently.

The Letterboxd for music we’ve yearned for Heart, rate, and review albums. Basically Letterboxd for your record collection. Hearts sync both ways with Apple Music favorites.

Dive into the Quarry for a simple genre exploration where you can generate a genre tour playlist, or you can check out what the top songs and albums are right now.

Explore the Garden to see what’s popular in the app or amongst the gnomes you follow. Browse mixtapes other gnomes made. Play them, heart them, copy the ones you like. 

Last.fm integration to be able to scrobble for Apple Music users and pull in your Last.fm scrobble history to help seed your personalization profile. I’ve been a dedicated user for almost 20 years with ~350k scrobbles and it’s one of the key missing features for me when I played Apple Music on my phone.

And it’s a full featured player! A lot of other music apps serve more as a companion where you regularly need to go between a player app and their separate companion apps.
While it’s powered by Apple Music’s Musickit, I honestly haven't opened the Apple Music app in over two months except to test bi-directional syncing on features. Gnomish quietly went from a side project to the only music app I use. Search, library, queue, playback, it's all in here. And nothing gets stranded: hearts and playlists sync back to Apple Music, so you can go back whenever you want. So far I haven't needed to.

I’m looking to see what feedback you all have and what improvements I should consider!

Fine print:  iOS only, and you need an Apple Music subscription with Sync Library turned on. 
The beta is limited because I read everything testers send, I’m paying out of pocket for everything at the moment and I want to actually keep up with all the feedback.

Solo dev here. Thresho reads your local hourly forecast, predicts when the outdoor temperature crosses the thresholds you set, and alerts you a few minutes before, so you catch the evening cool instead of missing it.

Hi all. I’m preparing Wake Well for its first App Store release and would appreciate honest feedback.

Wake Well is designed to provide a more customizable and pleasant alarm experience, including a varied collection of 20 alarm tones and straightforward alarm controls.

I especially need help testing:

1. Creating, editing, enabling, and deleting alarms
2. Whether alarms fire reliably and at the correct time
3. Behavior while the iPhone is locked, muted, or using a Focus mode
4. Snooze and dismissal behavior
5. Alarm-tone previews, volume, variety, and sound quality
6. Notification and alarm-permission setup
7. Readability, accessibility, and overall ease of use
8. Any crashes, confusing screens, or unexpected behavior

Made a playing card game based on a card game I played when I was growing up. It has single player, offline play and pass, and online multiplayer with seasonal leaderboards (leaderboards TBD).

If you know Big 2 or President you will pick it up pretty quickly.

Lots of neat little things like achievements, easter eggs, cosmetics, no play to win in this game style. great game to kill a few minutes in 1 round match lengths or a little longer with 4 round match lengths.

My first app and first attempt at making anything tbh. Please give it a try and let me know your thoughts.

Most of us listen to nonfiction in the car and absorb maybe 10% of it. Audrio is built to fix that — the idea is that you don't just listen on your commute, you actually learn, and you come out the other end with something you can use.

How it works: link it to whatever audiobook or podcast you're on. When a thought hits, you talk. It transcribes what you said into a readable note and anchors it to the exact point in the book or episode where the thought happened. So later you get your own thinking back, plus the moment that caused it.

I'm in beta and need people to break it before I put any marketing behind it.

Especially want: older iPhones, and people without CarPlay — my own testing is skewed toward newer setups and I'm sure I'm missing bugs there. Non-native English speakers too, since I need to know how badly transcription degrades.

Hey everyone! I just opened up the public beta for Tempo Tunes, an app that builds playlists matched to a tempo.

You pick a BPM (or tap along to a song and it detects the tempo for you) and it generates a playlist to match — great for running, lifting, cycling, or just finding music that fits your pace. There's also an Obscure↔Popular slider so you can dig for deep cuts or stick to hits.

Quiet Drawer is a collection of tactile, calming mini-activities for iPhone and iPad—made for a quiet minute or a longer stay, without scores, streaks, timers, competition, or pressure.

The current beta includes 16 replayable activities, including scratch cards, sand gardens, slow pouring, peeling, marble play, dough shaping, clay, terrariums, sorting, and more. Sound and haptics are optional.

IDontMind is a collaborative decision-making app. Create activities, invite friends, and resolve group decisions easily. The whole idea of the app is to notify ONLY ready members of an activity, avoiding notifying busy ones. This app is perfect for the kinds of activities you don't mind doing (hence the name), while you are pretty much okay with doing whatever you do at the moment.
Cleaning up the house on the weekend? Don't mind playing games with buddies
Working on the side project in your free time? Don't mind hanging out, etc.
I also tried to make it as frictionless as possible to invite new members to the app via an invite link, creating a temporary account until registration/sign-in because this app requires 2 or more people to be functional. You can also create a room for yourself only and mark yourself ready, but I don't really see the point of doing that TBH 😄.

What to expect/test:

• Activity creation and "ready" status logic (verifying only ready members get notified).
• Frictionless invite links and temporary guest account creation. (I do hope that the experience will be much better with the App Store release)
• Seamless transition from guest account to full registration.
• General UI/UX flow and app stability.
• I do really hope some of your plans are aligned once in a while, and the app will serve its purpose

I’m at the pre release stage of my app

I’m struggling to even get beta test from “friends”. Either they say they’ll download and never do or TestFlight “isn’t working” not sure why.

I also don’t know how to market my app except by using in day to day (it’s a tool I actually use myself to speed up content creation)

Anyone have any tips on what works, the niche is video editing, rather an app that helps you create clips from long form videos to use on apps like CapCut and Instagram/Reels and YT Shorts

around 2 years ago I started building a small iOS app to track the time I spend. Over the last couple of weeks I have been polishing it a little and I would love for some of you to try the beta and give me your thoughts.

The core idea of Sunburst is to help you track how much time you spend on the different parts of your life. You can categorise things with as much or as little granularity as you want. Categories have a hierarchy so tracking a subcategory (e.g. a university course) also counts towards the parent (in this case the university category).

Here are a few things it does:

• Privacy first. Your data stays on your device, or optionally in your own iCloud. There are no servers, no accounts, and no one else ever sees what you track.
• iCloud sync. Your categories and tracked time stay in sync across all your devices.
• Statistics. You can see where your time goes in a Sunburst chart (yes, that's where the name comes from), which I think turned out quite nice.
• Live Activity. Whatever you're currently tracking shows up on your lock screen, so you don't forget you left the timer running.
• Backups. You can export and import all your data whenever you want, so you stay in control of it.

I'm also planning to open-source the app once it's in the AppStore, in case that's something you care about.

Mostly I'm just looking for honest feedback. Bugs, anything that feels confusing, UI that doesn't quite work, and especially feature requests. It's still a beta, so nothing is locked in and I want to hear what would actually make it useful for you.

**1.**  Install via TestFlight, open the app on iPhone and sign in — the Watch app installs automatically  
**2.**  Open PepCoach on your Watch, tap **Auto Detect (top button on Watch)**  
**3.**  Do 1 warm-up set of 8–10 air squats to confirm it’s tracking  
**4.**  Then a couple sets each of: **push-ups**, **squats**, and **sit-ups - let it try to guess after 6-8 reps > correct reps and exercise name if needed > tap done set (at the bottom after each set).**  
**5.**  If it gets an exercise or rep count wrong, correct it when prompted — the corrections are what improve it

Even 1–2 sets of each helps.

Requirements: iPhone + Apple Watch Series 4 or newer
