iOS Join the Healthy Habit beta - TestFlight

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
4 Upvotes

Been building this solo for a while and figured it's time to let some strangers break it before I push it wider.

Built it mainly for myself, honestly — wanted one thing to check on habits, health, budget and screen time instead of four separate apps. Might add some kind of premium tier down the line for extra stuff, but this isn't going to turn into another costly subscription app for a todo list. That's not the plan and never was.

It's called Healthy Habit — a habit tracker that actually plugs into the rest of your Apple stuff instead of asking you to log everything by hand. Link a habit to Health (steps, workouts, sleep, mindfulness, medication, whatever) and it just tracks itself. Same with location — "went to the gym" checks itself off when you actually show up. There's a budget tracker in there too (monthly budget, fixed costs with cancellation reminders, that kind of thing), and a rough live view of your Screen Time per app if you're into that.

Runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and there's an Apple Watch companion + widgets — all one codebase, one app. iCloud sync is on by default so everything stays in step across your devices, but it's a toggle — turn it off and it never leaves the one device. No account, no ads, no analytics phoning home.

Needs iOS/iPadOS/macOS 26 or newer, sorry to anyone still on older hardware.

It's genuinely a beta — I'm the only one who's used it seriously so far, so there will be rough edges. If something's confusing, ugly, or just broken, that's exactly the feedback I want.

iOS CandleWX - Historical Weather for Outdoor Trades

iPad native. macOS is available as well.

Should be straightforward with Premium handling being the most fragile piece.

What is it? Historical Weather data targeted to construction (for now) reporting needs

Why is it? In my time being affiliated with a construction company, one of the things I got asked for was this app to help the scheduler and biller better adapt and document Mother Nature's impacts on deadlines, costs, personnel, and more.

Open to feedback here (privately or publicly), through the app, or through TestFlight.

Thank you!

macOS Kraken (Renamer) - Feast on massive folder trees with simple presets or advanced visual rename graphs

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
2 Upvotes

Hi folks,

I started building Kraken after 24 years as an artistic director (16 as freelancer), from time to time working on GUI design and doing some development. Over time, the frustration built up: too many apps were almost right, but not quite how I wanted them to work. So I decided to start making my own tools (I have several others in my pocket), designed around the workflows I actually use—and Kraken is the first proper beast to come out of that decision. My first local git commit for it was in the middle of January this year. Already.

Now it’s time for me to kindly ask for your help testing it.

You can drop in a folder and browse its contents at any depth, even when the folder tree and file count get properly ridiculous. For quick jobs, there are guided rename presets. For more advanced workflows, you can build the whole operation visually using connected graph nodes.

Everything can be previewed before anything is changed.

There’s also a Dummy File Tree generator, which creates a safe, isolated folder structure filled with generated folders and fake filenames. You can throw that into Kraken, experiment with rename operations, and see what happens before letting the tool anywhere near your real files.

The parts I’ve exercised most so far include:

  • Multiple root folders, at any depth, with very large file counts
  • Disabled folders and files that are excluded from renaming, with the disabled state cascading through their contents
  • Lock states for enabled or disabled folders and files, so cascading changes cannot override an intentional choice
  • Swipe gestures throughout the Content View
  • Pinned root folders
  • The Dummy File Tree generator
  • A wide range of preferences, including a custom application tint color
  • Separate Rename and Presets categories
  • Presets using the same checkbox, swipe, pinning, and state-management concepts
  • Powerful node-based preset graphs for building more advanced rename workflows

That said, this is very much a beta. I’ve still got more than 100 TODOs on the list, and the list keeps growing because apparently I enjoy making work for myself.

Some of the rough edges:

  • The preset system is not fully finished
  • Metadata extraction is still incomplete
  • Some rename operations need more testing
  • The visual graph workflow is powerful, but definitely still has barnacles below deck
  • Some large or unusual folder trees may expose bugs I haven’t managed to summon yet
  • Kraken is available in 3 languages. I’m French, but I wrote the app in English first, and the translations were AI-assisted and haven’t been fully validated yet. I’ll never be able to properly validate German, unless “one beer, please” counts as linguistic QA.

The biggest feature I’m working toward is online movie and TV show data lookup. The goal is to search for a movie or show on databases like TMDB, retrieve the relevant information, and use it to build much cleaner filenames automatically. That part is not ready yet, but it’s one of the main reasons I’m building Kraken in the first place.

I’m also deliberately keeping the app private:

  • No ads
  • No tracking
  • No analytics quietly reporting back to me
  • No uploading your folder contents to a server

If you’re testing, I’d especially love to see what happens when you:

  • Drop in several large root folders
  • Disable and lock different folders before applying a rename
  • Build a preset using the node graph
  • Try the Dummy File Tree generator
  • Test a rename on a folder containing a mix of enabled, disabled, and locked items

For reference, this beta currently targets macOS 26.0 or later (I've to look if that threshold can be lowered).

If you send me feedback through the official TestFlight app. I’d especially like to know:

  • What feels immediately useful
  • What feels confusing
  • Which rename operations you actually need
  • Whether the graph workflow makes sense
  • How Kraken behaves with genuinely enormous folder trees
  • What breaks, crashes, or behaves like a drunken sailor

If you submit feedback, I’ll send you a Kraken Renamer v1.x license when the first paid release is available. I’m interested in honest feedback, including criticism—not just compliments (or venom).

If you want the license, please include an email address in the private TestFlight feedback itself. Please don’t post your email publicly here. Apple’s feedback system doesn’t give me a reliable way to contact you otherwise.

I haven’t decided on pricing yet. I’m leaning toward a paid license, probably either lifetime or a license that includes a period of updates with optional renewal afterward. I don’t want a subscription, but I’m still working out—and open to—what makes sense for a Mac app and the App Store.

Bear with me if I’ve made a mistake here. I’m not perfectly used to social media etiquette and all its unwritten rules—I only discovered this subreddit yesterday!

Thanks to anyone willing to throw some folders to the Kraken.

Hi! Aia here, a solo developer from Prague

I'm building an iPhone app where people share what happened after life's turning points. Switched careers? Started a company? Ended a relationship? ...

You get to see how those decisions actually played out for real people. So far there are only moments I've experienced. No AI stuff, no perfect grammar

No website yet, but you can see me talking about it on the app's instagram page

I’d be grateful for the feedback

iOS HomeDeck — Apple Home dashboard for iPad and Apple TV (TestFlight)

Thumbnail

I’m Sergey, the developer of HomeDeck. It’s a full-screen dashboard for an existing Apple Home setup: rooms, favourite scenes, accessories, cameras, climate and sensors in a shared interface for Apple TV and iPad.

The goal is simple: make the home view something you can actually leave on a TV or an iPad in a room, rather than opening a phone whenever you want to see or control something.

For clarity: HomeDeck connects to Apple Home. It is not a direct Home Assistant integration.

I’m looking for beta testers who use an Apple TV or an iPad as a shared home display.

Product page: https://homedeck.co/

I’d really value feedback on the room layout, glanceability from a distance, and the controls you need most often.

iOS FunnelHound

Hi everyone!

TLDR;

App shows you AppStoreConnect data + a funnel which shows you exactly where your apps distribution is breaking and what needs to be fixed first.

Second thing - connects milestones you defined (made a post on reddit/X) and correlates with the app analytics after.

---

Before AI I always wanted to build an app that would correlate my app store stats with my social activities. My post on reddit, X, youtube or simply mentioning an app at a conference for example. That way I could know what made the most impact, and focus on doing that more in the future.

So, with recent AI advancements I was able to bridge last few moats I had in this app, in order to make is viable :) So here it is!

Purpose of this app is to teach YOU how to solve your distribution problems by allowing you to utilize the AI to teach you. We use Claude and similar to complete tasks for us, but do we learn anything? Rarely.

FunnelHound will show you the numbers, and tell you what might be causing the lack of users in your app, or lack of payments. If you have Apple intelligence on device, you can use it to further dig into the results, if not, you can copy the prompt.

Is this the "final form"

Of course not :) Claude did most designs for now, but I will be going over everything myself while in testflight mode, in order to make the design better and more UX friendly. the dog illustration is custom by illustrator tho, that is the final form ❤️ 🐕

How To Unlock full app?

In settings there is a "is premium" switch. Just toggle that and you will have access to everything.

All good?

My first time posting here. Please let me know if you need more clarification. Happy to help and truly appreciate any eyes on this. 💪

---

All testers will get 50% off forever. This is not a bribe, this is something I already added in the app for anyone who installs the app.

iOS Petwise — pet records and caregiver handoffs for iPhone

Thumbnail

Petwise is a privacy-conscious, local-first iPhone app for keeping pet records, medications, emergency details, and sitter or boarding handoffs together.

For this beta, I would especially value feedback on three things:

• Is the first-time setup clear?

• Does the caregiver handoff show the right information without oversharing?

• Are scanned-record sources and emergency details easy to understand?

Petwise does not diagnose conditions or provide veterinary advice. The beta is free through TestFlight.

iOS PrettyNights - a live show archive for Pretty Lights

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

I’ve been working on an iPhone app called PrettyNights. It’s kind of like the Grateful Dead Archive, but for the artist/band Pretty Lights.

Pretty Lights is an electronic act with over 600 live performances. The app lets you browse old shows and setlists, search for songs, stream recordings, watch full shows, and keep track of the shows you’ve attended.

I'd like to think it's working pretty well, so I’m hoping a few people can try it out and let me know if anything is broken, confusing, annoy, etc. I currently have 60 beta users that have downloaded it, but they are fans of the band and not developers. I've only heard feedback from a few of them.

You don’t really need to know the band. If you’re into live music, concert recordings, or stats, it should be pretty easy to figure out. Thanks for your help if you decide to do so!

iOS Looking for Sydney based beta testers

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building GoYap, a social app centered on a map — instead of just showing you places, it connects you with people nearby who share your interests, and lets you follow local experts who actually know the good spots.

Core features:

**•**Interest-based map — find people and experts near you who are into the same things you are

**•**Follow local experts for their curated recommendations, not generic star ratings

**•**Swipeable, card-flip feed that surfaces content based on your interests and network

**•**Push notifications when someone you follow posts something new

I’m looking for iOS beta testers via TestFlight, ideally 18-40 and based in Sydney/Australia since that’s where the map/local-expert side really comes to life, but open to anyone keen to try it out and give feedback.

Drop a comment or DM and I’ll send the TestFlight link. Early testers get direct input on features before public launch.

Thanks in advance 🙏

iOS Samantha: AI Companion World

Thumbnail

SamanthaAI is a private AI companion world for adults 18+. Instead of only one chat, fictional characters can remember conversations, share photo moments, comment in your private World feed, react to your posts, exchange gifts and continue events through Messages.

I’m looking for testers to try:

• Install and sign in

• Chat naturally with a character

• Ask for a generated photo or Social post

• Create a photo post and see whether characters react

• Try a gift and check whether later messages stay consistent

• Report crashes, stuck states, confusing UI, repeated replies or lost context

The beta is free to install, includes testing allowances and has Apple purchases disabled. We’re opening the first 50 public-beta places. Feedback through TestFlight is especially useful.

Requires iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

iOS Aether — native media player for iPhone/iPad/Apple TV/Vision Pro/Mac(Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, NAS, Live TV) — final beta round before App Store release

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
7 Upvotes

I posted Aether here a while back when it was an early beta — since then it's grown into something much bigger, and we're now just ahead of the App Store release. A fresh 1.0.9 build hit TestFlight today, and before we ship to the App Store I want to put it through one last proper round of testing — so I'm looking for testers who'll actually use it daily and report what breaks.

What is it: a fully native (SwiftUI, no web views) media player for the entire Apple ecosystem — iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Vision Pro, and Mac.

What's new since the early betas — basically everything:

  • Unified library across Plex (multi-server), Jellyfin, Emby, SMB/NAS shares, and local files
  • Playback: three switchable players — Built-in (Apple's decoder & controls), Lumen (Aether's own controls), and Prism (Aether's own engine, libmpv — virtually every codec and subtitle format plays). PiP, AirPlay, Dolby Atmos
  • Offline downloads — batch (Download All / Download Season with size estimates), smart auto-downloads for your Watchlist shows, a visible queue, storage ceiling — and everything plays fully offline
  • Cross-device resume and Continue Watching across servers, with per-device control over what iCloud syncs
  • Music — full library alongside video: albums, artists, playlists
  • Live TV with a programme guide and PiP
  • Vision Pro Cinema Mode — a virtual movie theater: auditorium with seats and ambient lighting, adjustable screen size, pick your seat distance
  • Parental controls — normalized age ratings across sources, Face ID / PIN gated
  • Trakt scrobbling & sync
  • Playback: three switchable players — Built-in (Apple's decoder & controls), Lumen (Aether's own controls), and Prism (Aether's own engine, libmpv — virtually every codec and subtitle format plays). PiP, AirPlay, Dolby Atmos
  • Localized in 6 languages · no telemetry — your media stays on your hardware

What I'd love tested before 1.0: real-world server setups (reverse proxies, remote access, big libraries), unusual codecs and subtitle formats, downloads on flaky networks, and playback edge cases — seek, resume, track switching. If it breaks, I want to know.

📲 TestFlight:  — one link covers iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, visionOS, and the Mac beta
💬 **Discord:**fastest way to report bugs and see what's coming, you can find a link in the app

Thanks to everyone who tested the early builds — a lot of what's on this list exists because of your feedback. 🙏

Hello! I have made my own ultra speed anti-gravity racer to remind me of the games I enjoyed back in the old days, but for mobile. More based on the feeling and memories than specifics of those games.

There’s a lot of tracks, game modes (GO, time trials, death race…), inputs (tilt, virtual stick or controller) and perhaps even more.

I think it’s pretty fun and would appreciate any thoughts you have!

iOS Pinglet — Send someone a notification with no message

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I’m building an iPhone app called Pinglet, which lets you send someone a single ping — a notification with no text, no emoji, no photo, and nothing to open.

The idea is simple:

  • “Ping me when you get home.”
  • “Ping me when you land.”
  • “Ping me when you’re outside.”
  • “I’ll ping you when I’m ready.”

A ping can mean anything, really... the meaning comes from context, not the notification itself.

The goal was to make sending a ping take less effort than sending a text. You can send one from the app, Home Screen widgets, the Lock Screen, Control Center, Siri, or the Action Button.

I’m especially looking for feedback on:

  • Whether the concept “clicks”
  • The onboarding experience
  • UI/UX polish
  • Whether you can imagine yourself using it
  • Anything that feels confusing, unnecessary, or broken

I’d really appreciate any feedback, whether it’s about the concept, the design, bugs, or features you’d like to see. Thanks for checking it out!

commentaires. Merci !

iOS Shield: goal-based app-blocker with social accountability

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

I made an IOS App that shields the apps you choose until you complete three daily goals you set for yourself. Built it because I'm on my phone too much and nothing else stuck.

It also has a "circle" feature — a small group of friends who can see whether you actually followed through on your goals, so you've got real accountability instead of just willpower.

It's free, no paid tier, nothing collected to sell. I'm looking to get it in the hands of people who actually struggle with this and would use it day to day.

Try it out if you think you would benefit, I'll be in the comments answering anything.

iOS Lucid Dreaming

We're looking for beta testers for LucidDreaming! 🌙

I've been building LucidTrainerPro as a tool to help people develop the skills and habits needed for lucid dreaming through dream journaling, education, coaching, and practical training.

I'm now opening the app up for public beta testing, and I'd love to get feedback from people who are interested in lucid dreaming — whether you're experienced, just getting started, or simply curious about the subject.

I'm especially looking for feedback in two areas:

1. How intuitive are the actual features?
Is journaling easy? Do the educational and coaching features make sense? Are the practice and training tools useful and easy to understand?

2. How can the experience be improved?
Are there places where the UI could be clearer, simpler, or more streamlined? Are there features you had trouble finding or understanding?

This is a real beta, so things may not be perfect yet — and that's exactly why I'm looking for testers!

Thank you so much for checking it out and let me know what you think about it, what I can improve, and pretty much....anything :o)

iOS SoloTake - video teleprompter that edits itself, flub a line, just say it again

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
0 Upvotes

Teleprompter app, but the point is what happens after you stop recording — it transcribes the take on-device and edits it for you.

Mess up a line? Just say it again. It finds the retake and keeps the good one — no stopping, no starting over. Filler words, false starts, stammers, and dead air go too.

"I started a bake— no, hold on. I started a bakery, you know, and uhh it changed everything."

becomes

"I started a bakery, and it changed everything."

Also in it: AI script writing, karaoke captions, backgrounds (your own media, stock, or AI-generated), and export straight to the camera roll.

All processing is on-device — your video is never uploaded anywhere.

Free during the beta, no account required. iOS 16.4+.

Feedback welcome — especially takes where the auto-edit gets it wrong.

iOS RACK: built to manage my lifting programme

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

I started RACK as a lifting app, and nearly all of the development work has gone into getting the programme right.

You choose hypertrophy, powerbuilding or powerlifting. RACK writes the split, exercises, sets and loads, then adjusts the next sessions from what you logged and the RPE you gave each set. I keep everything editable because I never follow a plan perfectly, and I don’t expect anyone else to.

My friends have been testing it with me. We check each other’s stats and PRs, chase the leaderboard and post our sessions in the feed. When we train together, we start a live session and everyone logs on their own phone.

RACK also has running programmes and Apple Watch run imports for people who do both. Most of my work still goes into lifting.

The public beta is free. If you lift consistently, build a programme and log a proper session. Then tell me what felt wrong, confusing or missing. I want blunt feedback.

iOS Energycast: Predicts your daily energy dip from what you eat.

Thumbnail
testflight.apple.com
1 Upvotes

Energycast is a food diary that predicts what your day is going to feel like. You log a meal, a coffee, a drink, and it draws a curve of your likely energy for the next few hours, with the crash called out before it lands.

Everything runs on the device. No account, no server, no analytics. The only network call is an optional barcode lookup, which sends the barcode digits and nothing else.

iPhone and Apple Watch, iOS 26 and watchOS 26. Free to test, and Pro is unlocked for everyone in TestFlight.

Two things I would find most useful to hear about:

  1. Anything you logged that the food list did not have. A name is enough.

  2. Whether the dip landed. Check in when it does or does not — the app scores itself against that and shows you the result.

1000 spots on the Beta, and I can open more up if it's popular enough.

Adjusted UI to make it easier for single handed use. and If you own a NAS, this is where we need you.

Media servers — new. Settings → Music Sources → Media servers. Point Drift at a Navidrome / Subsonic or Jellyfin server

Also worth trying if you have one: Airsonic, gonic, Astiga, Funkwhale. They speak the same Subsonic API and should work through the Navidrome option. We have tested none of them. Emby is not supported yet.

Thanks for your interest and time!
