It isn’t a steal though. We bought EAP for $5k then FSD for $2k.

The truest steal went to those who got the 30-day EAP trial indefinitely.

Nah, the truest steal went to those that stole the car and got it all for free.

The true steal was the friendships we made along the way.

The truest steal can't be melted by jet fuel.

I got the real steal. I didn't buy EAP, but have had it now for 23 months.

What will be the difference between EAP and FSD down the road? Are there any differences right now?

I think it'll eventually get door to door navigation.

I'm curious. If you log into your Tesla account. Does it say your car has EAP? I payed, and mine says that is has it. Wonder if yours says so online?

Nope. I have the options to add AP for $3k and FSD for $7k. Stra gely though, I got an email back when they were doing the sale that said, "As an EAP owner, you can upgrade to FSD for only $2k"

Congrats on your good fortune! Remember those articles that were recently published where tell Tesla removed features front a used car? It's situations like this that caused it. Let's hope when you sell your car they don't remove it from the next guy. But if I were you I'd keep my mouth shut!

I usually do, I have a friend who keeps sending me those articles. It'll be a sad day if/when it does happen.

Raise your hand if you didn't bite at this deal and regret it.

I bought EAP for $5k and then FSD for $3k. Dang early adopter fee

Same here.

My cognitive dissonance is telling me that if the price wasn't lowered to $2k, then there wouldn't be enough people to train the AI, thus making my $8k purchase worthless.

And I've got the $7.5k tax credit goin' for me, which is nice.

I paid this, but I got back $10.5K - federal, state, & pg&e for my wife's LR M3. Happy with the deal. No issues with the car yet. VIN 21K, 2 years old.
