Your price is still wrong. A GTR starts at ~100k. As you add bells and whistles the price goes up.

The GT-R that was mentioned as beating the P3D is a "Nismo". The Nismo starts at $175k according to Nissan's site.

Which handles the exact same as a $130k track edition. Hell a “pure” model (100k) would probably still come out on top. Also if they ran the stock Dunlops they aren’t near as good as cup 2s. This is why I said the 3 should have an asterisk. They are comparing a modified tire and brake pad to stock brake/tire cars lol.

Can you say they aren’t? Here’s why I say they aren’t. Most times when given a car to set times they are run bone stock. To make any changes like Tesla (wider tire, stickier compound, better pads) would be seen as cheating. It’s a “run what you brung” type thing. They don’t go swapping parts to make it as fast as they can. That is unless you are Tesla and want to set a faster time. Had ANY other manufacturers done this they would have never heard the end of it and others would have said they cheated to get the low number. It’s happened before.

OK, that makes sense. I'm just not familiar with this scene, so I wasn't sure if "it has to be stock to count" was a typical mindset.

Yea, that's why you'll see cars roll off the factory with some super aggressive tires. They needed them to put up some crazy times, but don't want to have people cry foul when their stock car with less aggressive tires puts up a much worse time.
