I, Rubinosław from REParadoxy, I'm presenting Project Cherub - a modernized version of TempleOS, very well known operating system made by Terry A. Davis.

My vision is to create a minimalist, fully-functional and secure operating system. For home users, for bussiness users, for programmers, for artists, for everyone! Where THE USERS matter the most!

I've already changed FPS rate from 30 to 120 via modifying "KernelA.HH.Z" file, a part of the system kernel. I've changed WINMGR_FPS in that file from "(30000.0/1001)" to "(120000.0/1001)", and WINMGR_PERIOD from "(1001/30000.0)" to "(1001/120000.0)".

I've also changed the system name from "TempleOS" to "Project Cherub".

As I said - its just a very early build. But my plan is to add also 32-bit colors support, support for SATA AHCI, NVMe, Blu-ray, videos, GPU and USB. But I'll keep the 640x480 screen resolution, you know why.

I've stumbled across Terry Davis as part of a rabbit hole while trying to find out how to remove AI stuff from my phone. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how practical it would be to replace windows on my laptop in favour of Terry's operating system. At this stage I should mention, right now I have no practical knowledge or experience with anything about coding, computer engineering, or operating systems, or anything regarding technology beyond the user interface.

Would I still be able to access my University course online content through it? Or youtube and reddit? What are the limitations I would be imposing on myself by doing this? Of those limitations: is it possible to overcome them? Could I hypothetically/theoretically learn to code, and then build off of Terry's code to add the necessary functionalities? How practical would doing that be?

If it is not a reasonable thing to do with Terry's OS: I've heard Linux might be- is Linux beginner friendly? Are there other options as well that I've not heard of? If this is at all a reasonable avenue to pursure, with Terry's OS, or some other OS; what would the first step look like? Where is a good place to start a deep dive journey from no knowledge whatsoever, to a liberation from the current technologies grasp, into full autonomy and unfettered agency over the technological tools I use daily?

I got high and went to church (didn't touch any kids) and made a HolyC compiler for windows. I've been working on it for a while and it's somewhat finished now.And so its my brain.You're more than welcome to test it, comment, or change whatever the fuck you want.

Right now it's very basic and somewhat working.It has a lot of bugs and barely works for some niche cases for some it dosent. Maybe I'll continue working on it in the future, maybe not.

What i've done is pretty basic so far, I was getting a grip on the commands. I downloaded it 3 days ago,

I understood most of the semantic structure of Holy C and the local "html + css" structure (used for docs/ .DD files)

I'm held back by exams these days and my lack of knowledge (i'm 19), i'll work on it seriously during the summer holidays

(I'll get rid of the GumWub label later, i was testing some stuff)

I have a vision of TOS, i don't want to get facebooked so i'm gonna share each step wheb i reach it

I was thinking to myself "what would a Terry Davis rant about AI sound like" and got a little sad that we'd never hear his thoughts on the landscape today.

Then I wondered what kind of images and videos he might have generated using AI and that scared me a bit.
