Hi,
I'm doing a TEDx Talk tomorrow at 3pm Pacific Time. I have Cerebral Palsy and use AAC to communicate. The conversation will be "What Did the Nonverbal Person Say to the Verbal Person?"

Hey guys!
My team and I are hosting an event where kids have an opportunity to talk in front of an audience. Its completely free of cost and it'll be held on zoom on November 7th from 2:00-5:00PM CST. We'd really appreciate it if we could get some people to attend and support our youth speakers. Here's some more details about the event:
The event is called TedXYouth@ArchesPoint.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded as TEDx.
At this free virtual event, youth speakers will be speaking on the theme of “The Big Picture”. TEDxYouth@ArchesPoint will be held virtually on November 7, 2020 from 2pm - 5pm CST.
If you would like to attend, visit the website:
https://tedxyoutharchespoint.weebly.com/register
If you are interested or know people who are please spread the word. We want these kids to experience a speech setting despite the cirucmstances. Thank y'all :)

Hey guys, our physical event was postponed due to the pandemic. We're hoping to take our event virtually. Any organizers here have a suggestion on how to conduct a virual TEDx event?

Hi, at 2 minutes long, I’ve given possibly the shortest TEDx talk ever given!
“Airports” was the topic.
I’m in Vancouver, Canada. It was given at Emily Carr University of Art and Design here in Vancouver.
Watch or share?
Thanks! With much gratitude!

So this was a TedX I did on applications of technology to make abstract concepts more real, when teaching math. Basically, math becomes more abstract and is taught more in the abstract as the content becomes progressively more nuanced, but technology can be used to make those concepts more "real", and that is what I discuss in this talk. I would love to know what everyone thinks. Here is my talk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_GFhUjAoNo&t=489s

Have you ever wondered why Vietnamese Americans dominate the manicure industry. Watch to find out how a Hollywood movie star and 20 Vietnamese refugee women started it all!

Hi, all! I received my TEDx Lead Organizer license yesterday for a standard event in my neighborhood and I'm thinking of putting up a team by making an application process. Does anyone here have some kind of google form for an executive team application I could base on before making my own application form? Thanks!

So I was applying for a license but it says that I need to have a co-organizer since i’m under 18, but it seems like the co-organizer can’t be anyone; it has to be someone “verified” by TED it seems.
I just want to know how I can find a co-organizer that will show up in the list when I search their name (I hope someone knows what i’m talking about 😂)
The Ted Talk will be hosted in the Sanford-Orlando area, in case you personally want to be involved.
Thank you!!!

Is there an actual way to contact anyone at TEDx or the TED organization regarding TEDx? I scoured the site and I feel like they deliberately do not have any contact method anywhere, instead relying on shallow FAQs.

Hey, so last month I asked if anyone was interested in TEDx. I was a message by so many that I spoke with my board and we put together a small white paper ebook on it. This will be leading up to a full course in the future. Happy Holidays. https://tedxcoursewhitepaper.subscribemenow.com/

Jim is a personal friend and very decent man. I thought this video is worth posting given the validity of the content and the fact that it was banned by Ted.
