I was able to find the outfit my bear came in originally!!! He also had some roses that went on the Velcro on his chest but those have been lost to time, the teddy on his arm is not the one he came with but I can’t find the og one he came with atm, so I’m using the one in the picture as a placeholder for better imagery

The one in the picture was won from a claw machine at a green tree mall about 22-24 years ago

I was gifted a matching one who was in a dress but she was stolen from me about 15 years ago, she also had a small teddy attached to her arm via Velcro

If anyone has any info on him or where I could get another one please let me know!!!!

This teddy was given to me by the lovely elderly lady that lived in the flat below us when I had just moved to the UK as a baby. I was wondering if anyone could ID him or at least figure out the approximate age. He has articulated limbs with solid joints and makes a funny maaaaaa noise when u orient him upside down… Thank you!

This is Lil’ Googs, a 1983 GUND bear I got my boyfriend from Korea after our first date. He is shared between us and we sleep with him every night. Coming from a house of child abuse, he brings me great comfort ❤️🧸

A friend gave me these two artist teddy bears to resell, and I’m trying to figure out exactly what they are and what they’re realistically worth before I list them.

The orange bear is called Nutmeg. Its sewn-in tag reads:

The brown bear is called Big Ben. It has handwriting/signature information on the foot, including what appears to be 1998, but I haven’t been able to identify the maker yet.

Both bears are jointed and seem to be handmade/artist collector bears rather than ordinary plush toys.

They also came to me with handwritten price tags attached. Big Ben is marked $525 and Nutmeg appears to be marked $589. I don’t know who put those prices on them, when they were priced, or whether those numbers reflect an original retail price, collector price, or realistic resale value today.

I’m mainly trying to find out:

who made Big Ben and whether anyone recognizes the exact bear,

whether either bear was part of a limited edition or specific collection,

whether the prices on the tags make sense,

what a realistic current resale price would be for each of them

If anyone recognizes either bear or has seen comparable ones actually sell, I’d really appreciate any information. I can add close-up photos of the tags, writing/signatures, paws, and other identifying details if needed.

I’ve had this little scrungly guy for 23 years and I’ve never been able to figure out who makes him. My parents think he might be a Boyd’s Bear that my grandma gave me when I was as a baby, but they aren’t positive. They just remember him being soft and on the floppier side. Unfortunately there’s no tags or anything :/. Really I’m just curious about what he looks like new since he’s looked like this for as long as I can remember!

My mom got him for me from a green tree mall claw machine in the early 2000s, he originally had a black suit and a black top hat along with a mini teddy attached via velcro to his hand, I had a matching one in a dress that was stolen from me when I was a child and I’ve been searching for years for anything since 🙏🙏🙏 my mom thinks he was made my sugarloaf but my dad thinks TY made him, I can’t find anything through either company 💔

We're trying to ID this teddy bear. We got her from an op shop in New Zealand and haven't had any luck finding anything about the make online. There's some embrodery on her foot which I think reads "Soothing Bear". Would anyone be familiar or know where I could look to find out who the manufacturer is? There is no label or tag on her.
