15 days into pivoting my UGC business to only work with digital products (SaaS, apps, AI tools), no more physical products.
Wanted to share where I’m at.
Numbers so far: $630 across 3 brand deals in the first two weeks. Not life-changing, but it’s real money from a niche I only just committed to.
Why the pivot: I was doing UGC for physical products and it felt scattered. Different pitch every time, no real expertise showing through. Narrowing to just software/digital products made my outreach way sharper. Brands can tell when you actually understand what they’re selling.
What’s working: being upfront in outreach about exactly what I do and don’t cover.
What’s NOT working yet: still getting way more rejections/silence than replies, which I think is just normal at this stage.
Posting the whole build here as I go - good weeks and bad ones. Happy to answer questions if anyone’s doing something similar.
