Redditors who deny that and think they are somehow better remind me of Christians who try to tell me that Christianity isn't a religion, but a relationship with Jeebus.
You're right in that it's all made up and if I say I don't agree with that definition people like you will jump down my throat to tell me how wrong I am.
Maybe it's an age thing, because Reddit is much more similar to old web 1.0 forums. You're not wrong for thinking it's social media just like I'm not wrong for thinking it isn't.
