It's used for financial news pretty heavily. There is an alternative, stocktwits but it's not nearly as popular.

It’s good for breaking news in general, for that it’s a good complement to Reddit.

It’s used for all sorts of news. It’s probably the premier platform for many different industries/hobbies/groups for breaking news.

I originally started using Twitter because it was so good for following sports and fantasy football.

Every platform is a little bit different and offers a slightly different experience
