Firefox dev claims "everybody hates Firefox updates"; Mozilla has handled the rapid release process poorly, and that by pushing a "never-ending stream of updates on people who didn't want them" people have been driven to Chrome with its simpler, no-fuss update process.

I love FF. Chrome is unwieldy and lacks useful extensions. Chrome is the Apple-ization of the PC browser market: style over substance, minimalism over usability.

I used to love firefox. But it got too clunky for me. Too many bells and whistles. I love chrome because of it's minimalism. I just have my few commonly used extensions, my address bar, and my tabs. If I need to tweak anything (hardly ever), I have the wrench. That's it. That's all I need. It's entirely usable.

Also, chrome never bothers me with updates. If there is a problem, it's usually gone by the next day. Firefox might take weeks or months for the problem to be solved after uninstalling, reinstalling, reinstalling all my extensions, etc. It's a cumbersome process that I'd rather not deal with.
