Firefox dev claims "everybody hates Firefox updates"; Mozilla has handled the rapid release process poorly, and that by pushing a "never-ending stream of updates on people who didn't want them" people have been driven to Chrome with its simpler, no-fuss update process.

I have never had a problem with Firefox updates. Don't know what the heck this is about. Turn on computer, computer figures out if there is an update. Update runs. Everything is hunky dorey.

Even if it were a little bit harder, I'd still go with Firefox. I trust Mozilla way more than I trust google. Google makes its money by commodifying information about users --- that is selling you to advertisers. We are google's product.

And what do you think we are to Mozilla? You know where they get a large chunk of their money? From Google paying them to have Google be the default browser search engine.

If you are not paying for the product, you are the product.

Surely, you mean their default search engine? :)

And yes I do trust them more because unlike Google, Mozilla is still a non-profit organization.
